Meet at Kusadasi harbor and continue in Kirazl Village surrounded by flowering fields of cherry trees, figs, vines and olives. The village is a traditional Turkish Koy of narrow twisting streets, stone and whitewashed houses and terracotta roofs. Cooled by fragrant pine scented breezes Kirazli is a a world away from the hot and bustling tourist centers of the coastal strip.
Camlik Steam Locomotive Museum: The largest locomotive museum in Turkey accommodates 31 steam trains from all over the world including those once used by Ottoman and Turkish Rail - there are no diesel or electric engines. In this open-air setting, take time to wander around the displays of locomotives; all engines carry an identification plate in English.
Turkish Miniature Folk Museum: They have been making dolls since 1980. They have been reconstructing the village that they have spent their childhood. They began their work first with one doll. In the course of the time they converted the dolls into compositions which show the village life in Anatolia. These works consisting of dolls, models, drawings and houses are unique and original. Dolls and drawings belong to Ayhan Cetin. Costumes, dresses and accessories belong to Nazmiye Cetin.
