You will be captivated by the Priorat marvelous landscapes resulting from the combination of its wine crops, olives and dried fruits. The exclusive geographical characteristics and climate conditions of this region and the predominance of licorella (typical slat stone) in the soil, make the high quality of its wines possible.

The cultural richness and landscape diversity of the area are remarkable. You can find different monuments and buildings from the romantic period as well as a combination of woods, terraced vineyards descending the hillside to the sea.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Collection at Barcelona city according your flight schedule. Transportation to the selected hotel in the Priorat wine region. Typical catalan dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: Breakfast at hotel. Visit a familiar cellar in the Gratallops town recognized for the quality of its wines. We will enjoy a guided visit and a private taste led by the eonologist from the house. After the visit we will enjoy a gourmet lunch. In the afternoon we will visit the Carthusian Monastery of Scaladei. The remains of what was the first Carthusian Monastery in the Iberian Peninsula, founded in the 12th century by King Alphonse the Chaste. The Monastery had three cloisters with a total of 30 cells. Its location at the foot of the Monsant ranges gives this site an incomparable natural setting. Return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 3: Breakfast at hotel. Visit the picturesque town of Siurana recognized for its production of virgin olive oil. The cultivation of olives has been taking place for thousands of years in this area becoming the main agricultural product. This oil is marketed under the "denominación de origen protegida siurana" a name which guarantees the place of origin of the product. We will enjoy a olive tasting combined with an explanation about the characteristics of the product and elaboration technical.

Then we will enjoy a unique stroll around this special town enjoying its fantastic panoramic sights. You can not miss the impressive cliffs surrounding the tiny village which make up just one of the climbing areas situated in Catalonia. Lunch will be served in a Catalan restaurant to get in touch with the local gastronomy. Return to Barcelona around 5:00pm and end of our services
