Tour Itinerary:
Day 1:
- 09:00h - We will pick you up from your hotel in Skopje. Transfer to city of Ohrid.
- 11:30h - Arriving in Ohrid and accommodation in hotel Riviera, located on the Ohrid lake shore line just 30m from main city square.
- 12:00h - After accommodation at the hotel Ohrid city tour. This tour will include visits to: St.Sophia church 11th c. - Cathedral of Ohrid archbishops; St.Bogorodica Perivlepta 13th c. - The church was built and painted in 1295; St.Jovan Kaneo church 13th c. – most known for its scenic location, standing on a cliff over Lake Ohrid; St.Pantelejmon – Plaoshnik, it is the site of the first university in Europe, opened in the 10th c. and it is the place where the Cyrillic alphabet was created. Other significant cultural and historical objects like: Old bazaar, Kaneo settlement, Ohrid fortifications, Ancient theater, Gutenberg press shop.
- 15:00h - Lunch in national restaurant.
- 17:30h - Afternoon rest at the hotel.
- 18:30h - Trip to city of Struga.
- 19:00h - Arriving at Struga. Strol along the river Black Drim and old town.
- 19:30h - Returning back to Ohrid.
- 20:00h - Dinner at the hotel. Overnight.
Day 2:
- 09:00h - Breakfast at the hotel.
- 10:00h - Departure towards St.Naum. The road winds along the Ohrid lake 32km long shore line and passes by, or through all villages, small towns, weekend settlements and camping sites. Wonderful opportunity for site seeing of whole Ohrid area.
- 11:00h - Arriving at St.Naum. Site seeing of the church situated on a unique location on a cliff over the lake.
- 12:00h - Site seeing of the wide spring river delta of Black Drim river.
- 14:00h - Lunch on the terrace over the lake in national restaurant.
- 15:30h - Boat ride to the church of St. Zaum situated 3km on shore line of the lake. This church can be reached only by boat. Trip takes 30m boat ride in each direction.
- 17:00h - Returning back in Ohrid.
- 18:00h - Arriving in Ohrid. Stroll through the city of Ohrid old bazaar for some shopping (by your wish).
- 19:00h - Departure for Skopje.
- 21:30h - Arriving in Skopje at your hotel.
