Tour Itinerary:

Day 1, Monday: We head north to the vineyards of the Cote de Rhone, taking in sights as varied as the wine mecca of Chateauneuf du Pape and the crocodile farm at Montelimar (don't forget to try the nougat!).

Day 2, Tuesday: Its off to the seaside of the Camargue. The delta of the river Rhone is famous for its white horses, flamingos and bulls. We also visit the salt cliffs of the Salin de Giraud and have lunch in the medieval seaside fortress town of Aigues Mortes. Buckets and spades will be provided for anyone who wants to make sandcastles on the beach.

Day 3, Wednesday: Market day in St Remy so you may want to wander around the stalls for an hour before cruising out to Arles and the sights and sounds of the Alpilles. The local roads make a great opportunity to maybe try a bike you wouldn't normally consider - maybe a sidecar or a real classic..?

Day 4, Thursday: We go west, stopping for coffee under the shade of the Pont du Gard, a 2000 year old roman aqueduct before rolling north to the valley of the Ardeche, a natural wonder with the largest naturally occuring 'rock bridge' in Europe.

Day 5, Friday: "Friday is my favourite" - the Luberon as made famous by author Peter Mayle in his best-selling 'A year in Provence'. We stop for coffee in the breath-takingly beautiful village of Lourmarin (it's their local market day) and then explore the 'hanging villages' of the Luberon, so called as they appear to cling precariously to the hillside. Lunch in Gordes and an opportunity fo the adventurous to head to the top of Mont Ventoux for a view across provence to the sea.

As with all of our tours we offer a one or two day sidecar school before the week starts and you can stay on with us for as long as you like afterwards - there's plenty more to see!

Notes:
Airfare is not included in the tour price.

Rider - sharing room £875
Passenger sharing room £200
Rider single room £ 975 + price of rental bike (if required) for 5 days.

Note: These tours can be run at any time for groups of 4 or more riders. If you want to join a tour call us and we will try to co-ordinate individual riders into a group.
