Day 1: Huaraz - Canrey Chico - Tzacracancha
After the breakfast in the Hotel, we’ll leave Huaraz towards the south side, 30 kilometers. By the bus we will arrive to Canrey Chico (3350m), where we will meet our mountain staff, donkeys and llamas. From here we will start our trekking quite easy going up enjoying the landscapes and white mountain peaks. Early we will arrive to our camp place Tzacracancha (3800m) we will camp closer to Andean huts sheep fields.
Day 2: Tzacracancha - Yanashallash pass - Shonkoruri
Today we have to pass the highest point in this route, so we have to leave early to get to the pass on time Our guide will recommend you to hold windy jackets. Once we arrived to the Yanashallash pass, we will have a nice point of view to the west and east side mountain ranges. We will enjoy walking in the Pre-Inka trail stone paved routes, then we will go on the zigzag path to go down to Shonkoruri for our camp at (3850m) for the overnight camping.
Day 3: Shonkoruri - Chavin - Huaraz
Early in the morning after our Andean breakfast we will start our trekking by the down hill passing near the Andean straw huts and humble villages. Finally we will arrive to Chavin. Here we will visit the ruins, and then we will visit the city that’s next to the ruins too. Then drive back to Huaraz passing the highest point of Cahish Tunel at (4450m)
