Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival and Nairobi City Tour
Arrival at Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta Airport, where you will be met and greeted in our traditional style by our uniformed AfriChoice representatives, who will give you a briefing on your safari then transfer to your city hotel. Check in at the hotel in good time for lunch then depart for Nairobi’s City tour that takes you through the Central Business District viewing the shopping areas, parliament buildings, Conference Centre ( KICC) and the Railway station and many of Nairobi's modern and historical buildings. Our city tour also takes you to places of interest such as the View Point to get a panoramic view of the city, National Museums of Kenya, the famous snake park and the colorful city market. Return to the hotel in good time for dinner and have the rest of the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Nairobi Safari Club.
Day 2: Samburu National Park
After an early breakfast, embark into the tour van and drive north via Nanyuki and Mt Kenya through rugged and remote land to Samburu Game reserve. Lunch en route at the Trout – Tree restaurant. This wildlife reserve provides some the best and most colorful game viewing in the country. You are able to see animals that are found on both the north and south of the equator. Some of the animals that you are expected to see include the long necked Gerenuk, Zebras, Giraffes, Gazelles, Buffaloes, Elands among others. There are also several species of birds and plants. Arrive in the lodge in good time for check in and dinner. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sirena.
Day 3: Samburu National Park
An early morning game drive around the reserve where you get to see the animals in the field as they feed. Return to the lodge for breakfast and have the rest of the morning at leisure with an option of visiting the Samburu village at an extra cost. After Dinner enjoy a traditional Samburu dance from the Samburu people then the rest of the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sirena.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park
After an early breakfast, drive out of the reserve via Nyahururu and visit the Thompson Falls where you will have your packed lunch at a picnic site as you enjoy the seven falls and the scenery around. After lunch we proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park, which is famous as the home to thousands of greater and lesser flamingos. The park also provides sanctuary for Rothschild giraffe, rhino and leopard. Arrive at the park in good time for an evening game drive around the park. The drive will include a visit to the baboon cliff, the lake which is a home for several bird species and the Rhino sanctuary. Some of the animals that you expect to see at the park include the Roth’s child Giraffes, Buffaloes, Lions, Leopards, among others. Arrive in the lodge in good time for check in and dinner and have the rest of the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill.
Day 5: Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, drive out of the park as you enjoy the scenery in Nakuru and drive via mahi mahiu as we head to Maasai mara game reserve. On the way you will see several attractions like Mt. Longonot, Mt. Suswa and Mt Margaret. Maasai mara was named the seventh wonder of the world because of the wildebeest migration between the Serengeti National park in Tanzania and Mara in Kenya. This park is famous with the big five animals and other flora and fauna. Some of the animals that you expect to see are Lions, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Elephants, zebras, gazelles among others. Arrive in the lodge in good time for check in and dinner. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara.
Day 6: Masai Mara Game Reserve
Wake up to a morning in the wilderness, after breakfast we embark into our tour vans and take a whole day game drive that will include a visit top the Masai village. Picnic lunch will be served. We expect to see different animals, plants and birds. There is an option of taking an early balloon safari that ends with a champagne-style breakfast in the wilderness. Return to the lodge in good time for dinner and thereafter entertainment from the Masai dancers. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara.
Day 7: Amboseli National Park
After an early breakfast, drive to Nairobivia the old Naivasha road where you will be able to see several attractions along the way among them Mt. Longonot, Mt. Suswa and the old Italian church which was build in the early 1900s by the prisoners of war. Arrive in Nairobi in good time and be transfered to the Carnivore for lunch. After lunch depart Nairobi and drive along the mombasa road via Namanga border to Amboselui National park, lying below the most famous symbol of Africa, Mt Kilimanjaro. Arrive at the lodge in good time for check in and dinner. Dinner and overnight at Oltukai Lodge.
Day 8: Amboseli National Park
Wake up for an early morning drive as you see the animals roaming around the park. You are expected to see animals like the elephants, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Lions and different species of birds. Return to the lodge in good time for breakfast and have the rest of the morning at leisure enjoying the facilities at the lodge like the swimming pool, tennis court among others. Later in the evening we take an evening game drive for yet another encounter with the wild. Return to the lodge in good time for dinner and have the rest of the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Oltukai Lodge.
Day 9: Back to Nairobi, Departure
After breakfast do a game drive as we proceed to Nairobi. Arrive in good time at Nairobi and be transfered to the Carnivore for lunch. Carnivore Barbecue Experience is also described as 'Meat Eaters Paradise' and is the Africa's Greatest Eating Experience! After this great experience you will be transfered to the airport where our representatives will assist you with check inn for your flight back home.
