Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Aberdares National Park. A representative will meet you on arrival in Nairobi. After a short briefing by your expert driver guide, your tour takes you towards the foothills of the Aberdares Range to arrive in good time for Dinner at the Out span Hotel and have the rest of the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the Outspan.
Day 2: Lake Nakuru National Park. After breakfast we drive through the forested hills of the Aberdares before descending 1000m onto the floor of the Great Rift Valley, to the Lake Nakuru National park. This park is known as the home for millions of the lesser and the greater Flamingos and other different species of birds. Arrive in good time for lunch at the famous Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.
After a lunch and check in at the lodge, we proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park., The Lake Nakuru National Park also has a Rhino sanctuary, and other animals that can be seen here are lions, buffaloes, water bucks, hippos, warthog among others. Other attractions include the baboon cliff, Return to the lodge in good time for Dinner. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill lodge.
Day 3: Maasai Mara Game Reserve. After an early breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru for Maasai Mara Game Reserve. This reserve was recently gazetted the seventh wonder of the world because of the annual migration of the wildebeests and other animals. This migration starts from the Serengeti National park to Maasai Mara beginning July and sets back in October. Arrive at the Sarova Mara tented camp in good time for lunch and check in. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive in the game reserve, which is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. Other than the Wildebeests, other animals that you will see include the Lions, Giraffes, Zebras, Buffaloes and so many species of birds. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara Tented Camp.
Day 4: Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Take an early breakfast and embark into the tour van ready for a full game drive at the reserve and picnic lunch will be served. You will get an opportunity to see the big five animals and other attractions in the reserve like the Mara river, Ololoi Escarpments and others. This will also include a visit to the Maasai village where you will get a chance to see the Maasai people who will tell you more about their culture and they will perform several dances. Return to the lodge in good time for Dinner. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara Tented Camp.
Day 5: Amboseli National Park. After an early breakfast, depart from Masai mara and drive back to Nairobi via the old Naivasha road where you will be able to see some attractions like Mt. Suswa, Mt. Longonot, and an Old Italian church build in the early 1900s by the prisoners of war. Arrive in Nairobi in good time for lunch break at the carnivore and depart to make it in good time for dinner at the Otukai lodge in Amboseli National Park. Dinner and overnight at Sarova Oltukai Lodge.
Day 6: Amboseli National Park. Wake up for an early breakfast and depart for a morning game drive in the park. You will be able to see several animals including big herds of Elephants, Lions, Giraffes, Zebras, Buffaloes and different species of birds. Return to the lodge in good time for lunch then have the rest of the afternoon at leisure. After the four o’clock tea/coffee depart for an evening game drive for more adventure. Return to the lodge in good time for Dinner. Dinner and overnight at Oltukai Lodge.
Day 7: Tsavo National Park. After an early breakfast you depart through the rough road to Tsavo West National Park. Tsavo is a diverse and vast park, with large numbers of wildlife including elephants commonly referred to as the Red Elephants, Lions referred to as man eaters, giraffe, rhino, huge herds of buffalo, and a variety of bird species. Other attractions include the Shetani Lava flow, a reminder of the molten lava poring that spilled down the slopes of the Chyulu hills over the last three centuries. Arrive in time for lunch at the Kilaguni Serena Lodge. Kilaguni was Kenya’s first wildlife lodge and is known for its magnificent setting in the heart of the Park with views of the Chyulu Hills and the snowy peaks of Kilimanjaro. Each room has a private veranda overlooking a waterhole and Mt. Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Lodge.
Day 8: Sun and Sand Beach Club. After an early breakfast we board our vehicles and depart for the Kenyan Coast. We generally follow the Galana River for most of the way, passing charming Giriama villages crowded with bananas and palms. Arrive at the Sun N Sand beach resort for lunch then have the afternoon at leisure enjoying the fresh breeze from the Indian Ocean. It's a good opportunity to relax after the adventures in the bush. Dinner and overnight at club Sun and Sand.
Day 9: Sun and Sand Beach Club. Have the whole day at leisure with several activities at the club including water sports like deep sea fishing, snorkeling, wind surfing, sailing and other activities include excursions to the Marine National Park and coastal bird-watching in Mida Creek Reserve or in the lovely forests surrounding the Gedi ruins, an old Swahili town that was destroyed by the Zimba cannibals in the 15th century. Dinner and overnight at club Sun and Sand.
Day 10: Leopard Beach Hotel. After Breakfast Drive down to the South Coast via the Likoni ferry and check in, in good time for lunch at the Leopard Beach Hotel. Have the rest of the afternoon at leisure.
Day 11: Leopard Beach Hotel. Have the whole day at leisure with several activities at the club including water sports like deep sea fishing, snorkeling, wind surfing, sailing and other activities include excursions to Shimba hills national park, the Marine National Park and coastal bird-watching in Mida Creek Reserve or in the lovely forests surrounding the Gedi ruins, an old Swahili town that was destroyed by the Zimba cannibals in the 15th century.
Day 12: Departure. After breakfast, embark into the tour vans and start our long journey back to Nairobi where packed lunch will be served. Arrive in Nairobi in good time and be transferred to the airport departure flight back home.
