Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Bangkok
Met on arrival at Bangkok International Airport and transferred to your hotel where you can settle in and relax. Evening dinner and drinks at the hotel to get to know each other. Includes: (L, D).
Day 2: Bangkok
The following day visit the Royal palace, the Wats, enjoy the many markets and take a boat ride along the Chao Phraya River, before heading back to your hotel. Includes: (B, L, D).
Day 3: Bangkok / Phitsanulok
About a five hour drive drop in on this grade 3 river (high season grade 4) 2 / 3 hours kayaking easy put in and take out spend the night camping, transport available to do multiple runs excellent facilities. Includes: (B, L, D).
Day 4: Phitsanulok
A few more runs then a 5-hour drive in the afternoon to Chiang Mai, check in to your hotel and relax. Includes: (B, L).
Day 5: Chang Mai
Free Day to relax or go sightseeing.
Days 6 - 8: Mae Taeng
Grade 3 / 5 runs can be done around Chang Mai grade 4 river on the Mae Taeng can camp out here (buffet style food provided) All meals provided at the camp.
Days 9 - 10: Luang Prabang
Fly to Luang Prabang day tour to visit this world heritage site. Spend the morning exploring the Wats and visiting the Royal Palace after lunch you have the rest of the day free to enjoy the tranquility of this UNESCO World heritage or head out for an afternoon to Kuang Si Waterfall. Includes: (B, L).
Day 11: Vang Vieng
Luang Prabang to Vang Vieng, spend the night here by the Limestone cliffs and the gentle Nam Song River. Optional half Day Kayaking on the Nam Song River. Includes: (B, L).
Day 12: Vientiane
See Tat Luang Stuppa, Wat Sisaket and a silk weaving factory before going to Buddha Sculpture Park. Visit the Beer Lao factory and maybe even a free sample on your return, before overnight travel to Pakse. Includes: (B, L, D).
Days 13 - 16: Mekong Fault Line
Spend this time in the four thousand islands seeing the rare Irrawaddy dolphins, jumping waterfalls and attempting grade 5 drops along the Mekong fault line see Khon Pha Peng. Other optional activities available (Breakfast and Lunch provided on all days).
Day 17:
Return to Pakse and Transfer for the Night train from Ubon to Bangkok.
