This tour will explore part of Thailand that few tourists visit but is only 2 hours east of Bangkok by car – the province of Sakaeo. At your leisure, you will have the opportunity to explore the diverse attractions of Sakaeo - Pang Sida National Park, a popular locale for observing many species of butterflies and other wildlife; Lalu, a small canyon with strange compacted earth pillars and dunes caused by soil erosion – one of the eeriest landscapes in Thailand; and perhaps an excursion to Aranyaprathet, a large town not far from the Cambodian border, where there are some interesting Khmer ruins and a bustling outdoor market. During the month of June, Pang Sida National Park is the locale of the popular Butterfly Sighting Festival.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Transfer form hotel in Bangkok by private air conditioned car to Sakaeo Overnight : River Resort and Spa(deluxe room). Includes: (B).
Days 2-3: You will have the opportunity to explore Sakaeo on your own - suggested excursions are to nearby Pang Sida National Park, Lalu Canyon (90 minutes from Sakaeo City) and to Aranyaprathet, a bustling market town near the Cambodian border. Day 4: After an early morning breakfast, private transfer by air conditioned car to Bangkok. Overnight. Includes: (B).
