Imagine waking up to waves breaking just outside your window, seeing a magnificent sunrise and taking time to bask and stretch in the suns warm healing rays. Swim in the beautiful blue Caribbean waters on your own private beach cove, and then be served a hearty Jamaican or American breakfast featuring exotic tropical fruits! Dinners are delightful with fresh fish, chicken or vegetarian dishes or other deliciously prepared ethnic entries.
The second part of your vacation will take you to the Nature Capital of Jamaica and the place where tourism was born, Portland. In Portland you will experience world class surfing at Boston Beach, the adventure of finding hidden waterfalls, hiking through rain forests of the John Crow Mountains, the amazing reefs of SanSan Beach, or the beaches of the renowned Frenchman's Cove. In the secluded lush north east tip of Port Antonio Jamaica, you can stay at Great Huts Resorts, paradise on the edge. Great Huts is ecotourism travel in style, a special find for those who seek cultural tourism or adventure travel in Jamaica. Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Pick up in Montego Bay or Kingston to Strawberry Fields Together! To our cottage with its own private beach or the spa suite with a private whirlpool overlooking the main beach.
Day 2: Relax and enjoy the beach and nature.
Day3: Take an ATV or horse back ride on our beautiful coastal trails and enjoy a cook out on an empty beach then top it off by swimming in the jungle waterfalls.
Day 4: Enjoy the whole day at the Spanish River where there are no people, just the river to get a vigorous massage in, high jump, swim and play in the river, then enjoy a hearty picnic on the big boulders on the riverside The ultimate nature experience!
Day 5: Drive to Port Antonio which is a tour in itself, stopping at the famous Somerset Falls and bird sanctuary, enjoy a lunch out at our favorite spot in Port Antonio, visit Folly Ruins then on to Great Huts!
Day 6: Experience Great Huts by simply relaxing in one of our hammocks found on our private beach or on the picturesque cliffs. If not, you may snorkel or surf in the beautiful Boston Beach.
Day 7: You may visit the infamous movie spot of Blue Lagoon, climb the scenic Reach Falls, or do a hike through the mystical John Crow Mountains.
Day 8: Return from Great Huts to Montego Bay or Kingston for your flight home.
