Depart from pickup point in the Durban region at 6am.Arrive at Giants Castle nature reserve at 9am stop for tea coffee and muffins. At 9:30am we embark on a short half Hour hike to the San Rock Art Main Caves. On the way there we will observe rock formations and much flora and fauna which i will explain to you.At 10am we will reach the main caves where a site guide will explain in detail the meanings and the ages behind the paintings and the history and importance of the area to the San people also about the introduction of Nguni peoples and later the white settlers.After the presentation people can look at the paintings at thier leasure.11am we walk back to the picnic site for a picnic afterwhich we leave the reserve for Howick falls (105 m high)and then back to Durban drop off tim approximately 5pm.
