Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Mumbai
Early morning arrive Mumbai. On arrival our company representative will receive you at the Airport and accompany you to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel and relax. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Mumbai - Goa
Transfer to the airport after breakfast to board the flight to Goa. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Reach the hotel and check-in. GOA - It's 450 years under Portuguese domination produced a unique, synergetic blend of East and West. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Goa
Full day sightseeing of Goa - Visit Old Goa, the most important Cathedrals and churches - namely Se-Cathedral, Church of St. Francis Xavier, St. Catherine's Church, Arch of Vice Roy of Goa. Miramar Beach - This is the only beach close to any city and has a good view of the river Mandovi flowing into the sea. Also visit Dona Paula fishing village which is a small village at the tip of Panaji, the place has a very good viewpoint and a monument at the same place. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Goa
Full day at leisure for own activities and to enjoy the facilities of the resort. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Depart Goa - Mumbai
Transfer to the airport for flight to Mumbai. Reach Mumbai and transfer to the hotel. In the evening go for local sightseeing of Mumbai. Visit the famous Gateway of India and the Juhu beach. Overnight at Hotel in Mumbai.
Day 6: Mumbai - Cochin
Early Morning transfer to the domestic airport for your flight to Cochin by 9W 405 at 0545 hrs. On arrival in Cochin at 07:30, our driver will receive you at the Airport and transfer you to the hotel. Check in at get fresh. Leave for local sightseeing of Cochin. Overnight in Cochin.
Day 7: In Cochin
After breakfast leave for a guided tour of Cochin. Afternoon will be free for leisure. Overnight at the hotel. Cochin - the palm green commercial town of Kerala has one of the finest natural harbors in the world. The Chinese fishing nets can be seen at the entrance of the harbor. The Chinese through trade contact taught this technique of catching fish.
Day 8: Cochin - Munnar
Drive to Munnar in the morning (135 kms/04½ hrs). En route visit tea plantations. On arrival in Munnar, check in at hotel. Afternoon: Boat ride in the lake. Overnight in Munnar.
Day 9: In Munnar
Full day free to visit the bazaars, plantations etc. Overnight in Munnar.
Day 10: Munnar – Periyar (Tiger Reserve)
Early Morning: Drive to Periyar (100 km/ 03 hrs) and on arrival, check in at hotel. Afternoon: Boat ride in Lake Periyar to watch wildlife. Later visit Kumily spice market to see and buy spices. Overnight in Periyar.
Day 11: Periyar - Kottayam
Early Morning: Drive to Kottayam (120 kms/03 hrs) and on arrival, switch over to the House Boat and cruise along the backwaters, passing through paddy fields, villages, market etc. The cruise is through `Kuttanad' literally meaning the land which is lower than the sea level but is kept intact by its bunds and dikes. It is the "rice bowl" of Kerala. The rice fields are very beautiful and this lush land and surrounds governs the placid way of life of the people who live on the backwaters. Overnight on board the House boat.
Day 12: Arrive Alleppey - Kovalam
Morning: Drive to Kovalam (180 km/ 04½ hrs) and on arrival in Kovalam, check in at a beach resort. Rest of the day to relax at the beach or indulge in Ayurvedic massages. Overnight in Kovalam.
Day 13: Kovalam
Full day free on the beach. Overnight in Kovalam.
Day 14: Kovalam
Full day free on the beach. Overnight in Kovalam.
Day 15: Kovalam - Trivandrum - Mumbai
Morning: Assistance and transfer to Trivandrum airport (25 kms) in time to connect flight 9W 335 at 1335 hrs to Mumbai. On arrival in Mumbai at 1535 hrs, assistance at airport and transfer to the Hotel. Go for last minute shopping. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 16: Mumbai
Check out of the hotel early in the morning and drive to the International Airport for boarding the return flight to Spain.
