Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival at the airport, meeting with tour guide and departure towards Gorski Kotar. Our hotel is in Delnice, the biggest city in Gorski Kotar. Welcome drink and accommodation in rooms. After we refresh our selves and take some rest, we will meet for dinner in the dinning room.
Day 2: After breakfast we will visit little town Fuzine that is situated on the Bajer lake. On the lake we will have a boat ride, after the ride we will visit cave Vrelo and taste typical local meals made of mushrooms. After lunch we will visit national park Risnjak and go for a walk on pragmatically lane Leska, so we can acquaint that beautiful national park.
Day 3: Today we will visit canyon Vrazji prolaz and Zeleni vir. That is a canyon of river Jasle, 2 km in length, 2m in width and vertical cliffs can be up to 100 m. In the end we will reach cave Muzeva Hizica and wellspring of Zeleni vir, where miraculous waterfall from 70 m high cliff tumbles in to green lake, that is where the name comes from. When we return to hotel, our hosts will make a real hunter dinner for us. We will hang out talking hunting stories till late in the night.
Day 4: Acquainting of Gorski Kotar we will continue in Lokve, town situated on the bank of the lake with the same name in which are caught the biggest trouts of the world. Example for record was 25,40 kg heavy and 138 cm long. Beside trout Lokve is well known by frogs. Every year an international championship in frog jump is maintained. Everything about that jumpy animal we will find out in frog museum. After that we will go in cave Lokvarka and see three halls rich of ornamentals. We will have dinner in the well known restaurant on the lake bank whose many times awarded cheff prepare majestic delicacy from home made and healthy ingredients.
Day 5: Last day of our stay in this beautiful mountainous area, we will visit native village household, that lives in accordance with nature and tradition. Our hosts will acquaint us with process of making batten, agriculture, traditional farming of fruits and vegetables, they will show us how water mill is functioning and at the end treat us with indigenous lunch. After that we will go to the airport.
