Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival to Zagreb airport, leaving to Croatian Zagorje, a place known by its castles, knights and ladies. We will accommodate in castle Gjalski which is adapted to hotel. After welcome party and refreshment, we will meet knight’s troop who will be our hosts during this few days. They will acquainted us with the plan of this journey through time. The dinner will also be prepares just like in the middle age.
Day 2: After the breakfast we will begin with our discovering of medieval knight skills like archery, throwing axes, targeting Rolando and much more, so we won't discover you all at the moment. In the afternoon we will visit one of the most beautiful and surely most romantic castle in Croatia, Trakoscan. After looking around, we will go back to our castle where juggling troop will wait for us and entertain us during the dinner. That will be served without spoons and forks, just with knifes, like in the old times.
Day 3: We will begin day with exercising and preparing for tournament which will be held in the afternoon. We will participate there together with the real knights. After hard practice, we'll take a rest and then visit castle Orsic. First we will see museum of peasants rebellion and than go back to have fun on the tournament. Ceremonial announcement of the winners will be held at our hotel in knight’s hall. There we will enjoy under the lights of torches with our knights and ladies till late in the night.
Day 4: Last day of our companionship we will visit castle Veliki Tabor. That castle is bounded with legend about great love between village girl Veronika Desinicka and young noble Fridrich Celjski. But our farewell with this beautiful surrounding won't finish sadly. We will say goodbye to Zagorje in vineyard cottage where our knights will prepare typical home made lunch for us. After lunch we'll go back to airport.
