Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive in Quito, Ecuador. Arrive in Quito. Meet and greet at the airport. Transfer to the modern hotel Dann Carlton. One night, including breakfast, hotel tax and service charge.
Day 2: City and Equador. This comprehensive city tour includes visits to residential neighborhoods at the northern end of the city, continuing through the Gran Colombia Avenue up to the Basilica Church, where we will make a brief stop. Next to the "San Juan Mirador" for a beautiful view of Colonial Quito. While walking through the colonial streets we will stop at the Independence Plaza with a chance to admire the Cathedral, the Government’s Palace, and the Archbishop's palace.
We then visit the stunning La Compañia Church with its adornments and gold altars. Finally we drive on to the "Panecillo Mirador" for a breathtaking view of Quito. This will be a private tour with an English speaking guide in a private car. After a short ride North of Quito, we find the Equatorial Monument standing tall as a tribute to the French scientists who made history by determining the shape of the earth. Here you can visit the Ethnographic Museum, where the ethnic groups of Ecuador display their colorful way of life, and/or visit the Onsite museum Intiñan.
Day 3: Fly to Galapagos. Transfer to the Quito airport in time for your flight, arriving in Galapagos at 10:45AM. Transfer to the upscale, 16-passenger Motor Catamaran Queen of Galapagos. Begin your 7-night cruise through Darwin’s "Enchanted Islands". Accommodations will be in "double cabins". All cabins are spacious and feature a private bath/shower and air-conditioning. All meals, lectures and shore excursions are included.
Day 4: Plazas Island and Santa Fe Island visits.
Day 5: Visit Grdner Bay, Espanola Island and in the afternoon visit to Punta Suarez.
Day 6: Visit Punta Cormorant, Floreana Island and the Post Office Bay.
Day 7: Visit the Charles Darwin Research Station in Puerto Ayora. Santa Cruz Island, Jervis Isalnd.
Day 8: Visit North Seymour Island and also the Bachas Island.
Day 9: Visit Sullivan Bay and Bartolome Island.
Day 10: Fly to Quito and visit to the Interpretation Center in San Cristobal Island. Transfer to the airport for your flight, arriving in Quito at 04:30PM. Transfer to the modern hotel Dann Carlton. One night, including breakfast, hotel tax and service charge.
Day 11: Fly back home. Transfer to the Quito airport in time for the flight back to your country.
