From Boquete to Bocas, these Panama vacations allow you to explore verdant jungles teeming with wildlife, white-sand beaches cradling Caribbean waters and picturesque small towns steeped in character. Awarded “World’s 25 Best New Trips” for 2008 by National Geographic Adventure Magazine.
Hike along lush lowland jungles and misty cloud forests, coming face-to-face with exotic wildlife. Spend the night on one of the finest working coffee farms in the country. Slather yourself in volcanic mud before soaking in a natural thermal hot spring. Mountain bike the rolling hills of the Valle de Anton and snorkel, kayak, surf and dive in the crystal-clear waters of Bocas del Toro. Zip-line through the forest canopy over rushing waterfalls and tackle the rapids of the Chiriquí River.
Meet indigenous people still living much as their ancestors did hundreds of years ago and visit the Panama Canal, one of the world’s greatest engineering feats. At the end of each active day of your adventure vacation enjoy a fine local meal and relax in the gracious comfort of your hotel or eco lodge.
