Tour Itinerary: Day 1: Port Elizabeth. Pick up at Port Elizabeth Airport and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, a city tour is in place. The tour starts out with a visit to the Bayworld Oceanarium and then the Snake Park to see the wonders of South African waters and the reptiles. From there you visit the South African Air Force Museum including a short city tour. After a long day return to your hotel where you are booked in on bed and breakfast. The hotel is within walking distance to the city center and restaurants where you can go for dinner. Overnight and Breakfast at the Protea Edward Hotel. Day 2: Port Elizabeth - Apple Express – Port Elizabeth. After an early breakfast, depart for the Apple Express at 08:00. This is a full day journey between Port Elizabeth and Thorn Hill Village, approximately 40 km from Port Elizabeth. The train stops at Van Stadens River Bridge, the highest narrow gauge bridge in the world. Lunch will be served at the Thornhill Hotel but passengers are requested to make their own arrangements. Return to the Protea Hotel Edward around 16:00. Bed and Breakfast. *Please note that the train is scheduled to operate only on specific dates. Day 3: Port Elizabeth - Addo Elephant National Park. Breakfast first and then depart for the Addo Elephant National Park, which is home to the Big 5 and is regarded as the finest place to view elephant at close quarters in South Africa. Enjoy a full day game drive from where you will be transferred back to the airport for your flight home. Notes:
