Day 1: Departures are from Cape Town, Port Elisabeth or Johannesburg. Guests travel by luxury coach to the village of Knysna. (Knysna means place of water and ferns). On arrival in Knysna you will be greeted by your guide who will assist you to check into your hotel. The rest of the afternoon is spent exploring this charming region. The day is ended with a sunset cruise on the lagoon. Day 2: A short boat ride will bring us to the Featherbed Nature Reserve. Guests are free to wander through this unique reserve. After lunch we set off for a brief forest walk in the Milkwood Indigenous Forest, returning at sunset for a stop at the Knysna Oyster Factory. Optional Oyster tasting Day 3: Your guide will assist you in taking part in any of the following things: hiking, whale-watching, 4x4 wilderness trailing, mountain biking, fishing, bungy-jumping, canoing, boating, abseiling, quad-biking, kayaking, horse riding, black water tubing, surfing, township touring, sailing, scuba-diving or just relaxing. Day 4: Another day of exciting optional outdoor adventures as described above. Day 5: After breakfast guests will have the opportunity to wander around the many art and crafts shops found in Knysna.
