We pick up at your hotel at 8.30. Enjoy a guided tour of the magnificent gardens or spend quality time exploring on your own. We continue our journey over Constantia Neck to Hout Bay for a boat trip to view a colony of Cape Fur Seals on Duiker Island. Our Journey takes us over the historic Chapman's Peak drive where we stop to view the massive early geological formations and the fantastic view of Hout Bay.
We arrive at Fish Hoek (Fish Corner) on the False Bay coast where we can have lunch at one of the many excellent restaurants or buy a simple picnic lunch to have en-route. During the months of August to November you may rewarded with the amazing sight of Southern Right whales surfacing within meters of the shoreline. Following lunch we visit the colony of African Penguins, previously known as the Jackass Penguin, at Boulders Beach. We continue on to the Cape Peninsula National Park and Cape Point where you may take the funicular (optional) to the lighthouse lookout point.
We stop at the most South Westerly point of the African continent for a photo opportunity before we leave the park. Along the way you may be fortunate to see Moutain Zebra or a variety of antelope that live in the park and the (in) famous Baboons. Our next stop is at the Cape Point Ostrich Farm for a brief stop (and possibly a cup of coffee ?) before we travel back to Cape Town over Old Cape Road which was used by the wagon drivers of old to take their merchandise to Cape Town and back. At 17:00 We arrive back at your hotel.
