Cape Town is the site of the first European settlement in South Africa – founded in 1652. The tour continues to the townships of Langa, Guguletu, Crossroads and Khayelitsha. This is the real Africa. Here traditional healers, traders, markets, shebeens and the traditional play an important role in the community. Also tour the Bo Kaap, traditional Malay quarters and visit the District Six museum. In the afternoon, take the Robben Island tour which includes a ferry trip and a guided tour by previous inmates of the island.
