Carrying only a day pack, our trusty companion mules transport the bags while you are free to walk with just a day pack.
Ascending alpine pastures and crossing mountain passes the route takes in the "City of Glaciers", the enchanting valley of Veni and the amazing sight of the Pré de Bar Glacier. There is plenty of time to enjoy the small villages we happen upon along the way, including the delightful La Fouly and enchanting Trient. Staying in local refuges and hotels we feast on French, Swiss and Italian cuisine. This itinerary provides an exhilarating alpine walk with unforgettable vistas around every bend. Tour Itinerary: Day 1: Walk from Chamonix Valley through Bonhomme mountain passage to our refuge for the night. Total time: 5 hrs. Day 2: Walk to Italy via the Seigne mountain passage. Total time: 6 hrs. Day 3: Walk through the Veni Valley and past the glacial Lake Combal and transfer by bus to Grand Col Ferret. Total time: 5 hrs. Day 4: Walk to Switzerland and the village of La Fouly. Day 5: To the Valais des Hommes. Total time: 5 hrs. Day 6: Cross Forclaz Pass then descend to Trient.
