Considered by many to the be ultimate Arctic voyage this season. Cruise from Iceland, along the East Greenland Coast, around Spitsbergen and finally down the Norwegian Coast. A grand adventure in the purest sense, this voyage combines all the classic highlights of the Arctic and much more. Starting in the sophisticated Reykyavik, we leave Iceland behind and set sail to Greenland. Here we’ll discover some of the most remote and scenic parts above the Arctic Circle, including an in-depth exploration of Greenland’s east coast as we weave our way through the pack ice and view massive glaciers calving directly into the sea.
We keep our eyes peeled for whales and sea birds as we head to the island of Spitsbergen, home to Polar Bears, Narwhal Whales and walrus. We explore the spectacular mountainous west coast and view the remarkable cliffs that are teeming with bird life. Spitsbergen offers wonderful opportunities for tundra and glacier walking and fjord exploration amid a dramatic landscape providing a constant source of interest for all on board. We cruise via Bear Island and aim to spend a few days cruising down the Norwegian coast passing the Lofoten Islands and small fishing settlements on our way to Bergen.

Days 10-11: Northwest coast of Spitsbergen
Days 12-14: Northeast coast of Spitsbergen
Day 15: Cruise via Bear Island to Norwegian coast
Days 16-19: Cruise down the Norwegian Coast via the Lofoten Islands, Torget, Sor-Gjaeslingan and Runde
Day 20: Disembark Bergen where trip concludes
