There are three Tree Hotels/Lodges in the vicinity of Nyeri in the Aberdares National Park some 165 km north of Nairobi namely Treetops Lodge, The Ark Lodge and The Mountain Lodge which is situated on the slopes of Mt. Kenya.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Nairobi/Tree Hotel.
Depart in the morning and drive via the rich kikuyu plantations of tea and coffee to the tree hotel. Lunch. After noon, relax and wait for the wildlife arriving at the water-hole opposite the lodge for drinking water. At night, the place is floodlit and a variety of game is seen in the surroundings. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Tree Hotel/Nairobi.
After breakfast proceed to one of the largest vegetable market in Karatina town where a lot of interesting bargaining takes place. Return in time for lunch.
