Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Hanoi Arrival. Arrive Ha Noi by flight. Meet at Noi Bai airport. Transfer to hotel for check. The rest of the day free at leisure. Includes: (D).
Day 2: Hanoi – Mai Chau – Xa Linh – Son La. Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Mai Chau, approximately 150 km from Hanoi which is home to several ethnic minorities, particularly the White Thai and Muong ethnic group. Their traditional stilt houses are large structures with palm leaf roofs and polished bamboo floors. The kitchen is located in the center of the house; the cooking as well as the weaving of the colorful Tho Cam, the material used to make their clothes, takes place there. Visit Thai ethnic minority village. Lunch en route. Continue to Son La with stopover at Xa Linh Ethnic Village of Flower H’Mong and Green H’Mong. Arrive in Son La and check in at simple hotel. Accommodation. Includes: (B, L, D).
Day 3: Son La – Dien Bien. After breakfast, visit Son La Penitentiary before departing to Dien Bien with visit of Thaun Chau Market. On the approach to Thuan Chau, large groups of ethnic people may be seen making their way to and from the market, laden with baskets of goods. Continue road to Dien Bien with cross the most spectacular pass in Vietnam, which is famously named by local people as Pha Din Pass meaning "the Heaven and the Earth". Lunch at a local restaurant. A drop-by to the ethnic families is well worth en route from Son La to Dien Bien and check in at hotel. Accommodation in Dien Bien Phu. Includes: (B, L, D).
Day 4: Full day city tour Ha Noi. Breakfast. Visiting of Dien Bien central market before visiting of A1 Revolutionary Heroes' Cemetery Dien Bien Phu Historic Victory Exhibition Center, General De Castries’s Bunker, Old Muong Thanh Bridge and Nam Rom river. Lunch at a local restaurant. 14:30h transfer to airport for flight to Hanoi. 16:30h arrive Ha Noi airport. Meet and transfer to hotel for check in. Dinner at restaurant. Accommodation in Hanoi. Includes: (B, L, D).
Day 5: Full day Hanoi City tour. Breakfast at hotel. Full day city tour: Ho Chi Minh’s (closed on Monday, Friday and the entire months of October and November), Still House, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, built in the 11th century as Vietnam’s first university. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon visit of Museum of Ethnology. Take 01 hour cycle to visit Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. Attend the famous performance of a water puppet show, the unique Vietnamese traditional art. Accommodation in Hanoi.
Day 6: Hanoi – Departure. Breakfast at hotel. Day at leisure until transfer to Hanoi/Noi Bai International airport for departure. Includes: (B).
