Day 1: Nairobi/ Masai Mara. Drive through the Kikuyu farmland at the edge of Rift Valley. Descend the escarpment and drive via Narok to Masai Mara game reserve. Lunch at camp. Afternoon game drive. Day 2: Masai Mara. A full day is spent viewing and exploring this spectacular National Park. All the Big Five can be seen. Masai Mara is also famous for its bird life. Meals and overnight at the camp. Day 3: Masai Mara. Full day game viewing. A visit to the Masai Village. (Optional) Day 4: Masai Mara/Nakuru. Before breakfast a short early morning drive in the park. Return for breakfast at the camp. Break up the camp and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. Picnic lunch served en route. Arrive Nakuru town lodge late evening. Meals and overnight at the lodge. Day 5: Nakuru/Baringo. After breakfast enter the Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is noted for its huge concentration of flamingoes and a variety of wild animals. Return to the Lodge in time for lunch. Drive to Baringo in the afternoon, on arrival set up the camp before the hippo start coming on land. All meals at the camp. Day 6: Baringo/Bogoria. After breakfast proceed to Lake Bogoria to view thousands of Flamingoes, Hot Springs, Zebra, Impala, Grant Gazelle, Rear Kudu etc. Return to Baringo for lunch. Boat trip in the afternoon to view the Hippo and Crocodiles. Meals and overnight at the camp. Day 7: Baringo/Mt. Kenya. After breakfast break up the camp and descend the Rift Valley lakes driving via the rich Kikuyu farmlands to the beautiful and scenic Mt. Kenya. Picnic lunch to be served en route. Arrive late afternoon. Meals and overnight at the camp. Day 8: Mt. Kenya/Nairobi. After breakfast the morning is free to enjoy optional activities such as fishing, swimming, the Mau Mau caves history etc. Arrive Nairobi in the afternoon. Any client wishing to be left at Mt. Kenya at the end of this Safari can do so. Notes:
