Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive in Beijing. Met by local guide and transferred to your hotel. Explore the city on your own if you wish.
Day 2: Beijing. Guide will take you to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Summer Palace after lunch.

Day 3: Beijing. Guide will take you to the Great Wall at Mutianyu with cable car included both ways. Visit the Lama Temple on the way back to the city known for the 5 Story Tall Buddha carved from one tree trunk.

Day 4: Beijing. Guide will take you to the Temple of Heaven in the morning and to the Rainbow Market before lunch. Lunch will be at the famous Beijing Noodle King restaurant. Free time in the afternoon to explore on your own.

Day 5: Beijing - Datong by train. Morning free until the guide comes to transfer you to the train station for your afternoon train to Datong. In Datong you will be met by the local guide. (Stay on the platform outside your car and wait for the guide to meet you there). Guide will take you to dinner and then transfer you to your hotel.

Day 6: Datong. Guide will take you to the famous Yungang Grottoes in the morning. After lunch you will visit the HuaYuan Temple and the Shan Hua Temple.

Day 7: Datong - Taiyuan by car. Guide will take you through the countryside to the Dong Ge Tun village and visit a Cave Dweller nearby. You then will go to the famous Hanging Temple at Heng Shan which is 1400 years old. After lunch in Yin Xian City you will visit the 9 Story Tall Wooden Pagoda, largest wooden Pagoda in China built in 1056 Transfer to your hotel.

Day 8: Taiyuan - Pingyao. Guide will take you to the ancient city of Pingyao a UNESCO site surrounded by a preserved City Wall Transfer to a Folk-Style Guesthouse. The first bank in China was started here and you can visit it as the city is as it was 200 years ago.

Day 9: Pingyao – Taiyuan - Xian. Guide will transfer you to the airport in Taiyuan for your afternoon flight to Xian. In Xian you will be met by the local guide and transferred to your hotel in the central area. Special Traditional Dumpling Dinner tonight.

Day 10: Xian. Guide will take you to the famous Terra Cotta Warriors site. After lunch you will be taken to the HuaQing Pools Tang Dynast Winter Palace site. A visit to the Jade Carving Workshop to see many pieces of Jade Art is one of the best in China. Tonight you will attend the Tang Dynasty dinner and show one of the best in China.

Day 11: Xian - Luoyang by morning train. Guide will take you to the train station for your train to Luoyang ancient Capital. Notice the many Cave Dwellers homes on the left side of the train as you pass through the countryside. Guide will meet you on the platform in Luoyang. Guide will then take you to lunch before going to the Luoyang Museum and a visit to an Urban Cave Dweller in the suburbs. Transfer to your hotel.

Day 12: Luoyang. Guide will take you to the famous Longmen Grottoes along the river in the morning. Note the beautiful home across the river once the Summer residence of Chiang Kai-shek. After lunch you will be free in the afternoon to explore on your own.

Day 13: Luoyang - Shaolin Temple - Luoyang or to Zhengzhou. Guide will take you to the famous Shaolin Temple known for the Kungfu Monks. See a performance of Kungfu by the Monks as well as visiting their Monastery. Back to Luoyang or on to Zhengzhou depending on the Air schedule at different times of the year.

Day 14: Luoyang - Beijing by air. Guide will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Beijing. Agent in Beijing will meet you and transfer you to your central area hotel.
