Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive in Addis Ababa, Transfer to a Hotel. Overnight Addis Ababa.
Day 2: After an early breakfast fly to Gondar and visit the city, the castle compound, Emperor Fasildas bath and Debre Birhan Selassie church which is famous for its age old mural paintings. Overnight Gondar.
Day 3: After breakfast drive to the simen mountains National park. Overnight camping at Sankaber.
Day 4: After breakfast Trek from Sankaber to Geech. Overnight camping.
Day 5: Trek from Geech, mount Imetgogo, Kedadit. Overnight camping at Geech.
Day 6: Trek from Geech to Chenek. Overnight camping.
Day 7: Trek from Chenek to Hambiquo. Overnight camping.
Day 8: From Hambiquo climb mt. Ras Dashen (4620 meters above sea level.) back to Hambiquo. Overnight camping.
Day 9: From Hambiquo to Arko Azeye. Overnight camping.
Day 10: From Arko Azeye to Lamo (Mekarebya). Overnight camping.
Day 11: From Lamo to Hawaza. Overnight camping.
Day 12: From Hawaza – Ade Arkay meets the vehicles and drive to Axum. Overnight Axum.
Day 13: After breakfast city tour of Axum includes the stelae, the church of st. marry of Zion, museum, Tombs (Kalab and Gebre Meskel) and Queen of Sheba’s bath. Overnight Axum.
Day 14: After breakfast fly to Addis Ababa, shopping in the capital. Overnight Addis Ababa.
Day 15: After breakfast city tour of Addis Ababa includes National museum, Archaeological museum, mt. Entoto and "Merkato" the largest colorful market in Eastern Africa. Transfer to Bole International Airport for final departure.
