Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Chengdu-Lhasa. Depart from Chengdu, meet at a designated location (06:00AM), and transfer to Chengdu Shuangliu airport. Arrive at Lhasa Gonggar airport which is at an elevation of 3000 meters, drive to Lhasa urban, en route visit Brahmaputra valley, Buddha Sculpture made in 11th century and Tibetan village etc. during the drive to Lhasa, then check in the Hotel, free and have a rest in the afternoon.Dinner by yourself. (No tour guide service whole day except the Tibetan guide will pick you up at Lhasa airport, avoid extreme physical activities.)
Day 2: Potala and Jokhang Monastery. Full day guided sightseeing, visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Monastery which famed as the holy place for Tibet Mandala, and souvenir shopping in Barkhor Street and photographing along Lhasa river side, later transfer to hotel.
Day3: Lhasa-Yangparchen-Lhasa. Drive from Lhasa to Yangparchen, it is about 5 hours driving totally.Visit Yangparchen geothermal power plant, enjoy a hot spring (30-50RMB/person). After that, drive back to Lhasa and overnight in Lhasa.
Day 4: Lhasa-Yamdrok Yumtso Lake-Shigatse (approximately 380km, with 200km bad road). Morning, drive to Shigatse along the south approach, en route visit Mt. Gangbala, Yamdrok Yumtso Lake, and Shigatse plain, then drive to Shigatse urban, visit the settlement of Panchen Lama - Tashilhunpo Monastery or take a photo outside of the monastery. There is a Tibetan picnic called lingka nearby, overnight in Shigatse.
Day 5: Shigatse-Lhatse-Dhingri (Xiegeer Town). After breakfast, drive to Xiegeer Town by Toyota 4WD vehicle by the way of Lhatse, cross the Gyamtso La pass of 5200m, arrive Xiegeer Town at about evening, overnight in local hotel. Note: The meal, accommodation and road are not good, only 4WD vehicle available.
Day 6: (Dhingri)Xiegeer Town-Mt. Everest Nature Reserve (Rhongbuk monastery). Drive to Mt. Everest Nature Reserve from Xiegeer Town, visit the Rongbuk Monastery located at the north face of Mt. Everest, and at an elevation of 5100m. it is the highest monastery in the world, only 20kms to the summit. See the spectacular view of Mt. Everest, visit the Base Camp, overnight in Rongbuk Monastery hostel(multi-people room, no in-room water closet, sleeping bag is recommended). Note: The meal, accommodation and road are not good, only 4WD vehicle or trekking can do.
Day 7: Rongbuk Monastery-Dhingri-Zhangmu-Kathmandu. Another high pass gives a last, spectacular view of the Himalaya before we leave the Tibetan Plateau, descending to Zhangmu – on the China-Nepal border and after the immigration formalities we proceed to Kathmandu.
Day 8: Kathmandu-Chitawan (Jungle Safari). Early morning breakfast and drive to Chitawan National park for exclusive jungle safari. It is 156 km and takes 5-6 hour. Upon arrival meet by the naturalist and transfer to the resort. The manager will brief the guests about the activities. In the late afternoon, the guests will be taken for a jungle safari on elephant back so that they can penetrate deep into the jungle for viewing and photographing wildlife or a jungle walk is organized to experience the abundant bird life and the flora and fauna for the park. If you are lucky, you may see the elusive Royal Bengal tiger both on nature walk as well as on elephant safari. A hearty meal of continental or Nepalese cuisine will be served in the evening around the campfire. Overnight at resort.
Day 9: Jungle Safari. Early morning guests will be mounted on Elephant back and taken for a Jungle for a 2-3 hours penetrating through dense grassland to view wildlife. This grass commonly known as Elephant grass is dense and grows to a height of 18-20 ft. It is the favorite habitat of the rhinoceros and other mammals. After breakfast , the guests are taken to our elephant stables where the senior naturalists will give a talk about the habitats of the elephant. Here one may witness the rare scene of the elephant at bath.Afternoon free to relax. Evening dinner served around the camp fire followed by Tharu stick dance. Overnight at Jungle
lodge.
Day 10: Jungle Safari-Pokhara. After breakfast, drive to Pokhara -o ne of the most picturesque valley in Nepal, 150 km from Chitawan and under the shadow of the Annapurna Himalayan range. A rare combination of snow-clad mountains, crystal clear lakes, streams, villages inhabited by friendly ethnic tribes. Overnight at Hotel in Pokhara.
Day 11: Pokhara-Hike to Sarangkot. After breakfast, packed lunch can carry (Optional as you can find good restaurant at Sarangkot) and start the pleasant drive and hike 20 minute to Sarangkot- the popular hilltop offering the superb panoramic view of the Himalayas. It"s a hike to places within the rim of the Pokhara valley and walks to the surrounding villages offer captivating glimpses of rural life. Back to hotel and city sightseeing of 3-4 hour. Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 12: Pokhara-Kathmandu. Drive to Kathmandu, 6-7 hour,200km. the mountain scenery on the way. Evening dinner followed by Nepali cultural program. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 13: Breakfast and final departure transfer. End the trip.

- Transportation: One way airfare Chengdu-Lhasa together with the air tax and fuel tax ,and transportation to airport, private Toyota Land Cruiser 4500 Or same kind Jeep(Van like Toyota Haice or tour bus may be used from Lhasa to Shigatse for joint group since there are more passengers from Lhsa to Shigatse).

- Accommodation: 3 star hotel or similar class, but , accommodation is very pool at Xiegeer town and Rhongbuk monastery usually several persons share a room without separate bathroom.
