Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Ankara. Meet at the airport and transfer to the hotel for Overnight. Meals: (B).

Day 2: Ankara - Ihlara Valley. After visiting the Anatolian Civilizations Museum and a tour in the traditional historic Ankara houses, we depart to Ihlara. During the 5 hours bus trip, we stop to visit the Salt Lake and 13. Century Seljuk's Caravanserai of Agzikarahan. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in Ihlara village, at pension. Includes: (B), (D).

Day 3: Ihlara - Selime - Guzelyurt - Urgup. In the morning transfer to the Ihlara Canyon, trailhead point for our trek. Walk by the bank of the Melendiz River, visit of rock cut churches, with good preserved frescoes, setting on the walls of the canyon. Arrive in Selime visit of ancient cave dwellings. 2 hours driving before Cappadocia. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in pension. 5 - 6 hours trekking. All meals are included.

Day 4: Kyzylcukur - Cavusin - Zelve. In the morning hike in Kyzylcukur valley, we visit Grape Church (Uzumlu Kilise). We can stop for a drink in Cavusin village. After, we walk to Pasabag, where you'll see different types of Fairy Chimneys. We carry o walking to Zelve open air Museum, where we can have lunch in Ottoman style. Here we can try Gozleme (similar to pancake) and Ayran (yoghurt drink). Overnight in pension. 5 6 hours trekking. All meals are included.

Day 5: Akvadi - Uchisar - Goreme. Transfer to the Entrance of Akvadi (White valley) by minibus. Hike in the valley where you can see very typical fairy chimneys. Arrive to Uchisar. Visit of the Castle to enjoy the panoramic view from the highest region of Cappadocia Plateau. After lunch, we walk in the Guvercinlik (Pigeon) valley, hiking through natural tunnels and seeing some interesting sights like pigeon-houses. The path permits us to join Goreme village, where human buildings and natural rock formations go hand in hand very perfectly. Dinner in a local restaurant and overnight in pension. 4 - 5 hours trekking. All meals are included.

Day 6: Goreme - Ortahisar - Mustafapasa. Trek to Ortahisar, passing through valleys and extraordinary rock formations and amazing cave dwellings. Arriving to Ortahisar, we visit of the Castle, a rock promontory, which was used as fortress during Byzantine period. We'll also take opportunity to visit a tiny local mosque. After lunch, start to trek to Mustafapasa. Descend in the Pancarlyk valley, and arrive to Mustafapasa. En route, we will see two churches from the 9th century. Dinner in a local restaurant and overnight in camping. 5 hours trekking. All meals are included.

Day 7: Cappadocia - Cukurbag - Karagol. Depart for the Taurus range, on the way visit of Derinkuyu Underground City. This is an amazing site where you descend to 87 meters under the ground, visiting on the way 8 floors! 1 hour 30 minutes drive to Cukurbag village. After lunch in Cukurbag village, we will drive half an hour more to the trekking start point near by Maden gorge. After 3 hours trekking, we arrive to campsite. All meals are included.

Day 8: Karagol - Yedigoller. Early in the morning we start walking via Karagol (black lake) and Yyldyz (Star) Lake. Climb up to Tekekalesi (3517 meters). After having lunch there descend down to Yedigoller plateau (3100 meters). Overnight in front of Direktas north face at campsite. (8 hours walk). All meals are included.

Day 9: Yedigoller - Emler Summit (3723 meters). Today there is a possibility to climb the Emler summit. With an easy walk we can reach this marvelous viewpoint for a superb view of the Yedigoller area. If the meteorology permits it, we will see the Anatolian volcanoes, Hasan (3268 meters) and Argeus (3918 meters). The Bolkar range is also viewable. The afternoon is free for personal discovering of the area and rest. This will be an opportunity to join one of the numerous lakes, for a refreshing swim. 5 hours trekking. Ascent and descent 623 meters. All meals are included.

Day 10: Yedigoller - Sokulupinar. We ascend to Emler summit (3723 meters ) via Celikbuyduran Pass (3500 meters), where we can see Erciyes Volcano, Hasan Volcano and Bolkar Range of Taurus mountains. Than we descend down to Sokulupinar camp (2000 meters). 6 - 7 hours walk. All meals are included.

Day 11: Sokulupinar - Emli Valley. Ascend to Sakartas (2300 meters) and traverse to Eznevit seminomad campsite where we may meet some families grazing their flocks around. After having lunch descend down to Siyirmalyk valley with a nice view. Overnight at campsite in Emli valley. All meals are included.

Day 12: Emli Valley - Kayseri - Istanbul. Depart for Kayseri, transfer to the airport to fly to Istanbul. Arrive in Istanbul and transfer to hotel for overnight. Free afternoon in Istanbul. Includes: (B).

Day 13: Istanbul. After breakfast, we have a full day sightseeing in Istanbul, including 1500 years old Hagias Sophia Church, the biggest tile museum of world; Blue Mosque, colorful Spice Bazaar and with 400 small shops; Covered Bazaar. Overnight at the hotel. Includes: (B).

Day 14: Istanbul - Home. Transfer to the airport to fly back home.
