Your Itinerary
Day 1: USA / Europe - Lima Peru. Peru Bergsport’s representing will be waiting for the passengers in the International Airport Lima Peru, Holding a placard with the name of the Tour Leader and Peru Bergsport, then passengers will aboard the private mini bus to be transferred to the Maria Angola Hotel, to the Lima’s modern district of Miraflores, from the airport is around 20 kilometers and it takes 30 minutes. Then in the Hotel passengers will be welcomed with Peruvian typical drink Pisco Sour. All time the Peru Bergsport tour leader will be in personal assistance till passengers will go to for the overnight at Hotel. Includes: (D).
Day 2: Lima - Cusco City Tours. After breakfast in the Hotel in Lima, passengers will be transferred to the Airport in Lima, around 7am, to take the morning flight to Cusco, then after one hour flight we will arrive to Cusco around 11am, then the group will be transferred to the selected hotel for the accommodation then, the group will have lunch and in the afternoon they will start the city tour visiting Cusco around. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 3: Cusco - Sacred Valley - Cusco. After the breakfast in the Hotel in Cusco we will aboard the bus around 8am and immediately leave Cusco in the east side, passing for Sacsayhuaman ruins, Pucapucara ruins Tambomachay ruins and finally arriving to the Sacred valley of the Incas. Day 4: Cusco - Aguas Calientes - Machupicchu. At 5:45 am you will leave the Hotel, with a pack lunch to the train, which leaves at 6:00 am. Travel is in a "Vistadome" Class (formerly "Autowagon"), the best there is. At 9:40 a.m., you will arrive at the Aguas Calientes Station, from where you take a 20-minute bus ride to the ruins of Machupicchu Once there, you will have a guided tour, with an English speaking guide.

Day 5: Aguas Calientes - MachupicchuU - Cusco. Morning breakfast in the hostal in Aguas Calientes, after to prepare bags at leisure in Aguas Calientes to continue visiting the area and Machupicchu in the afternoon (3:30 pm) we will take the Vistadome train back to Cusco, arriving at 7:30 pm. Approx, the group will be transferred to the hotel dinner and overnight at Hotel in Cusco. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 6: Cusco - Ninamarca - Pilcopata. We leave the city of Cusco early in the morning at 6am. in our comfortable bus. Approximately mid-morning we visit the interesting tombs of Ninamarca commonly known as "Chullpas". We continue to the picturesque town of Paucartambo, and on toward the Acjanacu pass, which marks the beginning of the Cultural Zone of Manu Biosphere Reserve. Here a thick cloak of clouds provides perpetual humidity and makes an ideal habitat for epiphytic plants such as bromeliads. This varied and fascinating world is home of the Cock of the Rock (Rupicola Peruviana), Spectacled Bear (Tremarctos Ornatus), Orchids, Tree Ferns (one of the oldest living plants), mosses and lichens. This cloud forest exists between 2000 and 3500 meters above sea level, and at least 50% of the plant species found here are endemic to this region. We will spend our first night in the village of Pilcopata in a typical lodge. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 7: Pilcopata – Puerto Atalaya – Boca Manu. Early in the morning after the breakfast in the Lodge, the bus transfers the group to the Atalaya harbor, during the day will travel with the motorized boat along the Alto Madre de Dios River on the way we will observe the variety of the Flora and fauna, specially the bird life such as: herons, egrets, kingfishers and always present the Condor of the Jungle, in the afternoon we will make a short stop in the Village of Boca Manu to taste cold typical drinks and soda drinks, after that the group will arrive to the camp site which is located to the famous Macaw Clay Lick, then in the afternoon the group will make walks to the nice spots around the black Crocodiles Lake. Day 8: Boca Manu Expeditions – Limonal. After breakfast we board our canoe for the four-hour trip down the Alto Madre de Dios River to Boca Manu, a small village where you can buy your last fresh supplies and cold drinks before setting off again in the canoe. Now we enter the Manu River and the Reserved Zone, stopping at Limonal where we camp along the riverbanks at the Park Rangers Headquarters. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 9: Limonal - Otorongo. This morning the group will continue with the tour by the Manu River, on the shores passengers will observe groups of turtles, white crocodiles, capybaras (Hydrochaeris) and maybe a Jaguar (Panthere Onca) lying on a log and watching its area; in the afternoon the group will arrive to the camp site in Otorongo, after we will visit the exotic paths full of plants and animals around Otorongo and the Oxbow Lake and the giant tower for to observe with the guide to learn the functions and secrets of the tropical jungle rain forest, overnight at covered platforms lodges. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 10: Otorongo – Laguna Salvador - Otorongo. Early in the morning the group will have a short walk around the Otorongo to expect the bird life and other animals, then the group will have breakfast in the lodge, then we will continue to visit another oxbow lake called Salvador, which is half and hour boat trip from Otorongo, here paddling silently on a catamaran, the passengers will have possibilities again to observe a family of giant otters fishing and playing, Black Crocodiles and many different rare bird life, such as Hoatzins (Opisthocomus Hoatzin), here in Manu the animals never have been hunted or killed from men. In the afternoon we will come back to our campsite Otorongo. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 11: Otorongo – Yanayacu Lodge. The red howler monkeys will wake up the passengers in the morning, after the group will have the breakfast then return along the Manu River, today the group will observe different animals and jungle landscapes, after sailing along the river the group will arrive to Yanayacu Lodge. Then after to accommodate in the lodge the group will have a short walk around 45 minutes, round the Yanayacu to observe the mammal Tapir, then return to the lodge, dinner and overnight. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 12: Yanayacu Lodge – Puerto Atalaya - Pilcopata. As always in the paradisiatic Jungle rain forest life style, many birds and animals will wake us up with their wist lings, and other sounds that they make, then after the breakfast in the morning the boat will take us to Atalaya harbor, where the bus will be waiting for us to take the group to Pilcopata, dinner and overnight in Pilcopata. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 13: Pilcopata – Cusco. After the last breakfast in the Jungle Rain forest we will return to Cusco, observing the the Cloud forest again, the group will arrive to Cusco in the afternoon, direct to the selected hotel in Cusco, free afternoon, dinner by your own in the selected restaurant and overnight in hotel Cusco. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 14: Cusco – Lima – Huaraz. After the breakfast in the Hotel the group will be transferred to the Airport in Cusco, then the fight will take one hour to Lima, from the airport Lima passengers will be transferred to the Bus Station at appropriate time to depart Huaraz the transfer to Huaraz will be with the luxury bus taking the Pan-American high way to the north side from Lima until the Lima and Ancash department’s boundary in the district of Paramonga, then after to drive 200 kilometers enjoying the Peruvian coastal desert landscape we’ll start to climb the Cordillera Negra in its west side in the zig-zag way-up with direction to the highest pass from today Conococha 4100 masl. Here we’ll find a small peasant village called Conococaha next to this village we will find a lake with the same name. From here we can already appreciate the views where the Cordillera Blanca Starts, and just 50 kilometers approx south from the Cordillera Blanca lies Cordillera Huayhuash and we can see only its peaks if there is no cloud. From Conococha we have to go down along the Santa River that runs through the Callejón de Huaylas until Huaraz. At 6pm or 8 pm approx we will arrive to Huaraz depending at what time we left Lima, then passengers will be transferred to the selected Hotel for the accommodation, overnight hotel in Huaraz. Day 15: Huaraz – Chavin Ruins. After breakfast in the hotel we will aboard our private bus to the Pre-Inca ruins Chavin, we’ll take the paved High way to south side Huaraz until the first town of the Callejón de Huaylas Cátac. From here we’ll start going through the Querococha valley, where we will find the beautiful turquoise colour lake of Querococha, we’ll make the stop to visit this lake and we’ll continue by the Conde ravine to reach the pass Cawish Tunel at 4500 masl with its 450 meters long, and here we’ll be in the middle of water flowing to Pacific and Atlantic Ocean, from here we’ll go down by the Tambillos ravine until mosna river, arriving to the first peasant village of Machac and from here the trail will continue through the Mosna river until Chavin Ruins. We’ll arrive to Chavin at 1pm approx. So immediately we’ll be transferred to a typical restaurant in the town of Chavin, after lunch we’ll visit the mystery Pre-Inca remains for about 1 hour, from here after visit we’ll come back to Huaraz arriving to our hotel at 6 pm. Day 16: Huaraz - Pamapamachey. After the breakfast in the Hotel we will aboard the Bus to go along the Callejón de Huaylas in the north side of Huaraz. Passing different traditional Andean towns, first arriving and making the first stop in Carhuas (2650m), her we will find the traditional made at home Ice-Crams from local fruits, and authentic and ecological Handcrafts Shown in El Abuelo handcrafts shop, El Abuelo is a shop located in the main square, where we will enjoy Carhuas’ native products, then we will continue with our travel to the next stop in the ancient town of Yungay, this city was buried by an Avalanche that fell down from Huascaran Mountain in 1972, the New Yungay (2500m), from here we have to start going up to the Llanganuco Valley, almost in the base of Huascaran Mountain in its north side, for the entrance to the Llanganuco Valley we will register in the National Parks Control, after we will visit the two lakes of Llanganuco, where we will have Lunch, then in the early afternoon we will continue going up to the Portachuelo pass (4767m) if the there is no cloud we will appreciate impression ant peaks of the Mountains, Huascaran, Chopicalqui, Pisco, Huandoy, and others, from here we will go down to our first camp place to Vaqueria (3600m aprox) and overnight Camping. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 17: Pamapamachey, Paria. Today we will start our trekking, first we will make a short walk down and start going up by the Huaripampa valley, we will have most beautiful walking by the Andean small villages and full of pastures, we will arrive to the Paria small ravine where we will camp (3800m). Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 18: Paria, Taullipampa. Today we will go up to the pass of Punta Union (4750m) from here we will have impression ant views of the mountains, landscapes, matching its natural mountain colors in the blue sky, the white mountains, Dark green hills, turquoise lakes, feeling the Andean fresh air at this altitude, from a short stop we will continue now going down until our camping place of Taullipampa (4200m) overnight camping. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 19: Taullipampa, Llamacorral. Today we will have easy walking down almost flat area, but after to start walking flat area we will go a short path to the base camp of Alpamayo, ‘cause we can’t miss to enjoy the world’s most beautiful mountain, then we will continue walking down passing by the small lakes named Jatun cocha and Ichic cocha, in a few hours we will get our camp place of Llamacorral at (3800m) overnight camping. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 20: Llamacorral, Huaraz. From here we will start our last day trekking, going down by the beautiful valley full of plants, as we close to the town of Cashapampa the valley will be narrow, and we will finish our trekking for about mid day, so we will go to the hot springs for about 30 minutes walking to have relax after 4 days trek, from here we will aboard our bus to Huaraz to our hotel arriving to Huaraz at 6 or 7pm. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 21: Huaraz, Lima. After the breakfast in Huaraz, the go-up will be transferred to the Bus Station, around 9 am, then start the journey, taking the south side highway, passing for different small towns in the Andean area of the Callejón de Huaylas, going quite slope along the Santa River until Conococha pass 4100 masl, where Santa River born and starts the Callejón de Huaylas and the Cordillera Blanca range, from Conococha, we will start going down to the Pacific Ocean shore, in the coastal area of Peru, arriving to the north Pan-American highway; after to drive 200km form Huaraz to Pativilca, from here there is 200 km more to arrive to Lima, along the Pacific Ocean shore, in this Peruvian coastal area we will appreciate the big faming areas of sugar cane, cotton, and many vegetables. After to drive 400km in total from Huaraz to Lima the group will arrive and will be transferred to the selected hotel in Miraflores. Dinner and overnight hotel Lima. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 22: Lima, USA, Europe. Morning breakfast at proper time according to the international flight departure time, passengers will be aboard the bus to the International Airport of Lima Peru. Important, passengers will be 3 hours before to depart according to the International Airport rules settled in the International Airport of Lima Peru, flight Back to USA / Europe. End our services and good Journey. Includes (B).
