Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Adana Mt. Taurus Mountains. Arrival in Adana, transfer to the Mt. Taurus Mountains area. After driving 2h30, we get to the Cukurbag village to spend overnight at village house. (1500 m). Includes:(B),(L),(D).
Day 2: Cukurbag - Karagol. After breakfast in Cukurbag village, we will drive half an hour to the trekking start point near by Maden gorge(1780 ). After 4 -5 hours trekking, we arrive to campsite(2800 m). Includes:(B),(L),(D).
Day 3: Karagol - Yedigoller. Early in the morning we start walking via Karagol (black lake) and Yildiz Lake. Climb up to Tekekalesi pass (3517m). After having lunch there descend down to Yedigoller plateau (3100 m). Overnight in front of Direktas north face at campsite. (8 hours walk). Includes:(B),(L),(D).
Day 4: Yedigoller. We will explore the lakes of the high plateau of Yedigoller. We will trek to Latyr Kyry and have lunch nearby one of lakes of the region. This will be an opportunity to join one of the numerous lakes, for a refreshing swim.4 hrs trekking. Overnight in front of Direktas north face at campsite(3100m). (8 hours walk). Includes:(B),(L),(D).
Day 5: Yedigoller - Sokullupinar. We ascend to Emler summit (3723m) via Celikbuyduran Pass (3450 m), where we can see Erciyes Volcano, Hasan Volcano and Bolkar Range of Taurus mountains. We start our descending down to Sokulupinar (2000 m) campsite in through Yalak
Valley. (5-6 hrs).
Day 6: Sokullupinar Arpalik plateau Cimbar Gorge Demirkazik Village- Kayseri. Early in the morning we start walking from Sokulupinar campsite at and with an easy ascend we reach up to Arpalik plateau (2400 m). Then we start descending through a nice gorge, called Cimbar Gorge. The fantastic canyon with high steep walls both sides will flow us to Demirkazik Village(1700 m). After a short visit to the village we will drive (2 hrs 30 min.) to Kayseri to take the night train to Erzurum.
Day 7: Erzurum Dogubayazit. We will meet our transfer vehicle and drive to Dogubayazit. Check in the Hotel and in the afternoon there is the possibility to visit Ishak Pacha palace from 17th.Century, in the foot of Mount Ararat. Overnight at hotel in Dogubayazit. Includes:(B),(D).
Day 8: Eli Village Camp I. Drive up to Eli village (or Cevirme Village) by truck. The trek starts from 2500m. After walking 4 hours we will reach to base camp 3200m where we spend overnight. Ascend: 700m. Includes:(B),(L),(D).
Day 9: Acclimatization Day. Today is acclimatisation day up 4000m. Strolls up in the mountain. Overnight at same camp site 3200m. Ascend: 1000m Descend: 1000m. (B, L, D)(You can also do acclimatization). From the second camp or depending on the meteorological conditions we can use this day for bad weather back up day).
Day 10: Camp 2 4200 meters. Trek up to second camp site; it will take 4 to 5 hours walking. Camping at the intermediary camping site, just before the summit slope. Ascend 1000m. Includes:(B),(L),(D).
Day 11: Summit Day (5137 m). Very early ascend to Mt. Ararat. Walking on the glacier routes up to summit. From the summit, at sunrise we will be able to see the summit of Mt. Elbruz and the little Ararat. Descending to Camp 2 for overnight. Total ascend and descending for 8 to 9 hours. Ascend: 937m. Descend: 937m. Includes:(B),(L),(D).
Day 12: Camp 2-Dogubayazit. Descend down to Eli village via our first campsite and nomad groups around. We meet a truck near Eli village and drive down to Dogubayazit. In the afternoon, free time for shopping. Overnight at Hotel. Descend: 2000 m. Includes:(B),(L),(D).
Day 13: Dogubayazit-Van. We will meet our transfer vehicle and drive to Dogubayazit. Check in the Hotel and in the afternoon there is the possibility to visit Ishak Pacha palace from 17th.Century, in the foot of Mount Ararat. Overnight at hotel in Dogubayazit. Includes:(B).
Day 14: Van - Home. Transfer to the airport to take the flight home.
