Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Kayseri. Meet with our team at the airport and transfer to the hotel for the night.

Day 2: Kayseri-Aksaray (Ihlara valley). In the morning drive to Aksaray, visit Agzikarahan Caravanserai dating back to 13th Century. We leave the caravanserai to Ihlara Valley, a true canyon formed by ash from Hasan Volcano and then eroded by Melendiz River and wind; it has 100 to 150 m deep cliffs on the sides and hundreds of rock-cut caves, rooms, Churches inside dating back to 6-12th centuries era. We will do this 14 km long Valley in two parts, first we will hike the long part where we visit some of the Churches and have lunch in Belirsirma Valley. Dinner and Overnight at camp.

The first touch with bicycles. We follow the Melendiz River down to Selimiye village, a village that was built in Rock-cute houses. A strange and nice monastery can still be seen partly. We continue to Nar Golu, a volcano crater lake and stretch our tents for the night. We depart to Derinkuyu town with our bicycles, and visit Underground city; a real underground labyrinth that was built by locals to store their goods at the beginning but became a strong castle, nobody able to find to capture. After we continue to Soganli Valley famous for churches and frescoes from Byzantine Period. We begin our traverses with bicycles in the valley of Soganli. Next we follow by Guzeloz through Sahinefendi and Taskinpasa villages.

We continue in the valley of Gomeda then we arrive Mustafapasa, a former Greek town abandoned by the Greek orthodox population in 1923 in accordance to the treaty of Lausanne. Since, it was reoccupied by Turks migrated from Greece, but you will recognize the signs of Greeks in the constructions. Approximately 50 km ride.

Day 5: Soganli-Guzeloz-Sahinefendi- Taskinpasa-Gomeda-Mustafapasa. We begin our traverses with bicycles in the valley of Soganli. Next we follow by Guzeloz through Sahinefendi and Taskinpasa villages. We continue in the valley of Gomeda then we arrive Mustafapasa, a former Greek town abandoned by the Greek orthodox population in 1923 in accordance to the treaty of Lausanne. Since, it was reoccupied by Turks migrated from Greece, but you will recognize the signs of Greeks in the constructions. Overnight at pension in Mustafapasa. About 40 km ride; track and path.

Day 6: Urgup - Uzengi - Valley of Pancarik - Ortahisar - Kavak. We criss-cross the valley of pancarlik, Pancarlik where we visit the church of Pancarlik with well preserved frescoes. We make a small detour in order to see the churches of Kepez and Sarica. Excavated to the 6th century, these churches were decorated with frescos to the 10th century. In addition, they present an astonishing architecture. On our way there are many cones of volcanic tuf located, of varied colors, from yellow to the red. Continue to the town of Kavak where we camp in an adequate corner. Overnight at camp. Approximately 30 km ride, mostly on track and path.

Day 7: Kavak - Goreme Rose Valley - Cavusin - Pasabag - Dervent Goreme. We ride to Goreme town first, one of the most famous places in the world for back packers and tourists, then depart to Rose Valley, took its name from rose, red and yellow colored formations. Descend down to Cavusin town, once a Greek village; we carry on our ride to Pasabag area famous for 2-3 headed fairy chimneys. At the end we reach to Dervent Valley to see one of strange formations; open to your imaginations. You can see Marry holding Jesus, The
Camel, Jesus etc. Overnight at Pension in Goreme town. Approximately
30 km ride, track and path.

Day 8: Goreme-Kayseri. Transfer to the airport of Kayseri, back to home.
