Tour Itinerary:
Days 1 - 3: Cape Town.
Pick up the rental car from the airport and the fun can begin. Cape Town is hip, hot and happening and you’re staying in Tamboerskloof, a quiet neighborhood, not far from the great vibe of the City Bowl. Visit Table Mountain, see the penguins at Boulder’s Beach and go to the Cape of Good Hope. Don’t miss out on all the stunning restaurants. You’re a staying in a beautiful boutique hotel. Days 4 - 5: Franschhoek 80 km.
This feng-shui guesthouse is beautifully located between the vineyards of the Western Cape. Have a pick-nick lunch and Boschendal and don’t miss out on the lovely winetasting at Haute Cabrière. You stay in a suite and will be pampered. In the morning a scrumptious breakfast and in the afternoon a high tea will be served. You can enjoy spa treatments in the privacy of your own room. In the evening you can have dinner in the lovely village of Franschhoek. It’s also called the culinary capital of SA. Inclusive of B and B, all local drinks and high tea. Days 6 - 7: Pringle Bay 100 km.
Pringle Bay is situated in one of the most beautiful bays of South Africa. You have a chance to see whales from your private sundeck. You just Have to have dinner at Hookline and Sinker, a local experience that you can’t miss. Visit also the beautiful botanical gardens in Betty’s Bay. De Valley of Hemel and Aarde has some beautiful wineries and check out the whales in Hermanus. Or play a round of golf at the stunning Arabella Western Cape Hotel and Spa. Inclusive of B and B.
Days 8 - 9: Swellendam 200 km.
Your contemporary guesthouse is situated in Swellendam, the third oldest town of South Africa. You can visit Bontebok National Park but if you’re here in Whale Season you must definitely go to De Hoop Nature Reserve and see the whales (June – November). The hosts from the guesthouse are absolutely lovely. Inclusive of B and B.
Days 10 - 11: Wilderness 240 km.
Kevin and Elsie, owners of the guesthouse in Wilderness, make sure absolutely everybody has a wonderful time there and wants to stay longer. Kevin is a great cook so make sure you get one of his delicious dishes (booking in advance). Wilderness has a beautiful beach and also a stunning Nature reserve for hikes. Inclusive of B and B.
Days 12 - 13: Nature’s Valley 80 km.
The Garden route of South Africa is absolutely beautiful. Visit Tsitsikamma National park and walk to Paul Sauer Bridge. Have delicious oyster in Knysna and take a drive to the Knysna Heads for spectacular views. Another great thing to do is a whale safari in Plettenberg Bay. Inclusive of B and B. Optional: whale safari in Plettenberg Bay.
Days 14 - 15: Amakhala (ADDO) 200 km.
Almost the end of your holiday to South Africa. Now finally some safaris. Enjoy the bush of Africa and visit the famous Addo Elephant Park. I’m sure you can’t get enough of the beautiful giraffe, zebra and impalas. You might see the ‘Big Five’ as well which would be Great!
