Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Pickup from Brindisi airport and transfer to Masseria Appide. Arrival at the charming old Masseria where you check in to your room. At your arrival the friendly staff of the hotel will invite you for a welcome apperitivo and will give you information regarding the Masseria and its surroundings. Time to rest before your welcome dinner at the restaurant, enjoying a superb dinner of local cuisine. Overnight.
Day 2: Breakfast at Masseria. Today you will have your first hands-on cooking lesson. Your expert chef will reveal the secrets of Italian cuisine, focusing on pasta. The lesson will take about two hours. Lunch to follow based on your efforts. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Masseria Appide.
Day 3: After breakfast, pick-up at Masseria Appide and departure for a full day visit of the Leccese countryside. Your driver will show you the enchanting countryside and will stop at Leone de Castris winery for a visit. Excursion includes visit of the wine cellar and wine tasting based on the range of the wines produced with tasting of typical Apulian appetizers such as tarallini and friselle (bakery products). Dinner and overnight at Masseria Appide.
Day 4: Breakfast at Masseria. Today you will have your second hands-on cooking lesson. Today you will concentrate on the second course, meat. Lunch to follow based on your efforts. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Masseria Appide.
Day 5: After breakfast, pick-up at Masseria Appidè and departure for a full day visit of the Leccese countryside. Our expert driver will take you around the stunning countryside and will stop at Corti de Droso oil producers for a visit. Excursion includes a visit of the museum, the ancient oil-mill, and a tasting of five different kinds of extra-virgin olive oil with bread and typical Apulian bakery products. Dinner and overnight at Masseria Appide.
Day 6: Breakfast at Masseria. During your third hands-on cooking class, you will focus on fish. At the end of your class, you will have your creation for lunch. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Masseria Appide.
Day 7: Breakfast at Masseria. Pick up and transfer to Brindisi airport for your return flight or for your next Italian destination.
