Next day you'll ride to the top of Table Mountain on the cablecar for a spectacular view of the City and surrounds, then spend the day touring the Cape Peninsula.

Day 3: A wonderful day to leisurely explore the historic towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek and of course to indulge in some tasting of fine Cape wines in gracious surroundings. Overnights at the Cape Grace.

Days 4 - 5: This morning you'll be transferred via the scenic route over du Toit's Kloof Pass to Worcester. Here you'll have the opportunity to taste KWV brandy or do a cellar tour. On to Robertson, to your lodge on a wine estate founded in 1798. Spend time the next day to leisurely explore the Robertson Winelands. Overnights at Fraai Uitzicht.

Days 6 - 7: You'll take the Route 62 to Oudtshoorn. This little used back road winds through lovely scenery, small villages and the stark Little Karoo. Don't miss a visit to Calitzdorp, the home of South African port wine. Oudtshoorn has a charm of its own and, apart from a visit to an Ostrich Show Farm, the spectacular Congo Caves are not to be missed. Tours here vary from the short and easy to the seriously adventurous. Overnights at Rosenhof Country House.

Days 8 - 9: You'll wind down the scenic Outeniqua Pass into George and on to the Wilderness area, with its wonderful wild beaches. On to Knysna, a quaint little town nestling by its famous Lagoon. Visit the Knysna Heads, cruise on the lagoon, eat fresh Knysna oysters. Overnights are at the St James of Knysna

Days 10 - 11: Transfer to Plettenberg Bay and explore the town and its famous beaches. Then totally relax in the peaceful surroundings of Tsala Treetop Lodge. Day 12: Today you'll explore the Garden Route, visiting some interesting and beautiful places. The Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary is a most interesting tour, being the rehabilitation into the wild of a wide variety of primates from all over the world, who have been saved from captivity. The tour is lead by a knowledgeable guide, You'll visit the beautiful Nature's Valley, the Blou Krans Pass and Storm's River Mouth. Then it's on to Port Elizabeth for a stopover before your safari.

Days 13 - 14: This morning you'll be transferred to the Kwandwe Game Reserve, This is a "Big Five" malaria-free reserve and is a fine example of conservation at work. Accommodation is in very luxurious suites and the lodge only accommodates a maximum of 18 guests. Game drives are in open Land Rovers and there is opportunity to get very close to a variety of wildlife. Overnights at Kwandwe.

Day 15: Early morning game drive and a long, leisurely breakfast. You'll be transferred to Port Elizabeth Airport for your flight to Cape Town or Johannesburg, to connect with your international flight home.
