Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: On arrival at Johannesburg Airport you'll be welcomed and transferred to Illyria House, a small exclusive Lodge in Pretoria. Illyria House offers a variety of relaxing activities that include sauna, jacuzzi, massage and beauty treatments. Overnight at Illyria House.
Days 2 & 3: Transfer to Johannesburg Airport for your flight to Maun, Botswana. You'll be met on arrival and transferred by light aircraft to your luxury camp on Chief's Island bordering the Moremi Game Reserve. This is a pristine wildlife paradise. Spend your days enjoying fantastic game viewing in comfort and style. Or lazily winding your way through channels in a mokoro (traditional dug-out canoe). Overnights at Chief's Camp.
Days 4, 5 & 6: Transfer by light aircraft to Baines' Camp, a small luxury camp on the southern tip of Chief's Island. Apart from the game viewing and mokoro trips, Baines' offers a very special adventure activity - a walk with the elephants, literally. The three gentle giants are semi-habituated and you'll have the opportunity to learn about them and observe them in their natural environment. You'll touch them and even lead them through the African bush by their trunks. Overnights at Baines' Camp.
Days 7 & 8: After your early morning game drive you'll be transferred by air to Kasane, to your luxury lodge bordering the Chobe National park. This area is famous for its enormous herds of elephant. Activities include game drives in the park, and cruises on the beautiful Chobe River. Overnights at Chobe Chilwero.
Days 9, 10 &11: Transfer by road and ferry to a luxury lodge near Livingstone, Zambia. Relax, unwind and enjoy a sundowner cruise on the mighty Zambezi River. Life here is relaxed and there is lots of time to enjoy the wonderful ambiance, superb cuisine and the many activities on offer in Livingstone. During your stay here you'll experience the Zambian side of the spectacular Victoria Falls, visit a local village, explore the very interesting Livinstone Museum, and take a game drive in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. Overnights are at Sussi & Chuma Lodge.
Day 12: Transfer to Livingstone Airport and say farewell to Zambia as you board your flight to Johannesburg to connect with your flight home.
