Come and explore the waters and mountain vistas of Kaikoura, an area with an abundance of natural beauty and a worldwide reputation for viewing its unique marine wildlife including sperm whales, dusky dolphins and playful seals. Just a few miles from the coast you can enjoy this unique environment, and even swim with the dolphins.
- Waipara Valley
Whilst travelling through the Waipara Valley on our return from Kaikoura, we break our journey at one of the wineries for a tasting. This region produces many fine wines but is noted for its award winning boutique Pinot Noir and Rieslings. Our choice of boutique wineries are selected from Daniel Schuster’s, Pegasus Bay, Fiddlers Green or Waipara Springs.
