DAY 1 Otopeni International Airport-Bucharest

Transfer by car to the hotel in Bucharest. Check in.
Short Bucharest Tour (everything in a walking distance):
Stavropoulos Church (1724-1730) has many beautiful ornaments and is very impressive through its exterior paintings and wonderful decorations. Cismigiu Garden is one of Bucharest's parks that have won the hearts of the inhabitants of Bucharest.

DAY 2 Bucharest

Breakfast. Historic Bucharest grew up around the Old Court, first built on this site in the second part of the 15th century by Vlad Tepes (Dracula). Manuc’s Inn is an important historical and architectural monument in the Capital. The Patriarchal Cathedral has been the centerpiece of the Romanian Orthodox faith since the 17th century. The Parliament Palace (1984-1989) is the most impressive administrative construction in Europe and the 2nd largest building in the world, after the Pentagon, in Washington. After lunch we go to the Cotroceni Palace (the Romanian presidency), also a very interesting museum. Dinner and overnight at your hotel*** in Bucharest.

DAY 3 Bucharest

Breakfast. Today we visit The Art Collection Museum (Casa Romanit) constructed in 1822 as a private residence. There are some fantastic works on show. The Doamnei Church was built in 1683 by order of Princess Maria. Lunch time. The Ateneul Român (Romanian Athenaeum) is the second most famous building in Romania. It hosts the George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra. The Kretulescu Church is probably the most famous historic church in Bucharest. Concert at the Romanian Athenaeum or the National Opera

DAY 4 Bucharest

After breakfast we will take ‘The Revolution Tour’ and see the places where the Romanian Revolution took place in 1989. The Revolution Square was the place where in 1989 the Ceausescu regime began to crumble. On the University Square ten stone crosses on the traffic island pay homage to those killed during the revolution.
After the lunch we will visit the Open air Village Museum or Peasant Museum (if it rains). You will find there exhibitions covering all aspects of Romanian peasant life.

DAY 5 Bucharest-Sinaia-Brasov-Poiana Brasov

Departure after breakfast to Sinaia, the former Royal Residence. Sinaia Monastery was erected by the military commander Mihail Cantacuzino from 1690-1695. Peles Castle-the former royal house- is the most important attraction in Sinaia. The 160 rooms contain precious art and sculpture collections. Pelisor Castle was built between 1899-1903. It contains a valuable collection of decorative art belonging to the Art-Nouveau style. After lunch we depart to Brasov. There we see The White Tower - in a circular form and The Black Tower in a square form, the key points in the defense
chain of the Old City. The Black Church (14th -15th century) the biggest construction in Gothic style in Eastern-Europe. The Town
Hall (15th century) dominates the Old City.Presently, it is the History Museum of Brasov County.
Dinner and overnight at a hotel**** in Poiana Brasov.

DAY 6 Poiana Brasov-Rasnov-Bran-Bucharest

Breakfast. We depart to Rasnov and visit Rasnov Fortress, built on a limestone rock. It is an old peasant fortress, unique for its style and position. Its first documentary attestation dates back from the year 1331. Inside the fortress there is a well 143 m. deep.
Lunch in Bran where we will see the Bran Castle. The castle was originally a fortress built by the Knights of the Teutonic Order (1212). Vlad the Impaler (Dracula) used Bran Castle as headquarters for his incursions into Transylvania. Departure to Bucharest.

DAY 7 Bucharest-Otopeni International Airport

Breakfast. Free time for last minute shopping before the transfer for Otopeni International Airport for your return flight.
