DAY 1 Otopeni International Airport-Bucharest
Transfer to Bucharest. Historical Bucharest grew up around the Old Court Palace (15th C). The palace however was destroyed by fires in the 19th century. Much of what remains today was uncovered during archaeological works (1967-1972).

DAY 2 Bucharest-Mamaia
After our breakfast we visit Bucharest. The open air Village Museum is one of the biggest and the oldest in Europe It acquaints the visitors, in two hours, with the specifics of Romanian traditions. Lunch and transfer to Mamaia resort. Mamaia is the biggest summer resort on Romania’s Black Sea shore, north-east of Constanta.

DAY 3 Mamaia-Constanta-Tomis-Histria
Breakfast. Transfer to Constanta city. Constanta is the largest port at the Black Sea. We visit the citadel (ruins of Tomis sec. VI B.C.) with cultural contact with the Greek and Roman civilizations. Lunch in Constanta. On the shore of the lake Sinoe, in the Northern part of Istria peninsula, 2600 years ago raised the city of Histria.

DAY 4 Mamaia-Admaclisi-Murfatlar
Breakfast. Admaclisi is a village in South of Dobrogea where the Romans built a triumphal monument in 109 A.C. Lunch & wine tasting at Murfatlar, the most important wine region on the Romanian coast. Dinner and overnight at your hotel**** in Mamaia.
DAY 5 Mamaia-Tulcea-Mahmudia
Breakfast. Transfer to the Danube Delta (Mahmudia).
Tulcea is the capital city of the Tulcea County. The History and Archeology Museum along with the Danube Delta Museum are the interesting cultural objectives of the city. Lunch in Tulcea. The Danube Delta is the most spectacular natural habitat in Europe and unique in the World. Flora is unbelievable rich in diversity. Dinner and overnight at your hotel***in Mahmudia.
DAY 6 Mahmudia Hotel-Sf. Gheorghe canal-Sf. Gheorhe Village-Black Sea and back after 6 hours
Breakfast. We visit the amazing natural environment of Danube Delta by boat. This is the place where millions of birds from different places of the earth, come to rest and eat during the migration seasons. Lunch. Dinner and overnight at your hotel*** in Mahmudia.
DAY 7 Hotel - Dunavat Canal-Cocos Canal-Mustaca Canal-Razelm Lake-Dunavat Canal and back in the hotel within 6-7 hours
Breakfast. The Danube Delta is the largest European
wetland and reed bed, forming also Europe’s largest water urification system. The Danube Delta is also the home to a rich mix of Ukrainian, Russian, Lipovan, Bulgarian, Moldavian, Turkish and Gagauz people, scattered around the delta in small villages. Lunch. In the 15th century, the Danube Delta was part of the Ottoman Empire. In 1812, following the Russo - Turkish War the borders of Ottoman and Russian Empires were set by Kilia and Old Stambul Channels of Danube, and in 1829 by Georgievsky Channel. In 1859, it became part of the United Principalities of Wallachia and Moldavia.

DAY 8 Hotel-Litcov Canal-Isac Lake-Uzlina Lake- Perivolovca Canal-Sf. Gheorghe Canal and back in the hotel within 4-6 hours.
Breakfast. Fishing together with our hosts. After lunch we
will visit the Danube villages. We have contact with different traditions & religions. Last dinner with our friendly hosts and tasting the good wines.

DAY 9 Mahmudia-Bucharest
Breakfast. Transfer to Bucharest. We will pass in Dobrogea region the ancient ruins of the Byzantine fortress of Heraclea, in the Enisala village. (645-650 A.D.) rebuilt by the Genoese in the 13th century to secure trade at the mouths of the Danube river, the citadel attract nowadays many tourists with its interesting history. After the lunch in Bucharest we make a short city tour. The main
boulevards and landmarks of the capital city will not be missed. We visit the Revolution Square; the former Royal Palace (now the National Museum of Art of Romania); the Athenaeum; the University of Bucharest Library and the Memorial of Rebirth. We will enjoy dinner in a cozy restaurant in downtown Bucharest.

DAY 10 Bucharest-Otopeni International Airport
Breakfast. Short city tour. If time allows us we will also
visit the beautiful Peasant Museum. The museum offers well laid out and presented exhibits which tell you about the diverse and fascinating history of life around the country. Replicas of all kind of utensils can be bought in the excellent museum shop.
Transfer to Otopeni International Airport.
