Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Douala/Yaoundé - Maroua - Waza. Board the morning flight from Douala or Yaoundé to Maroua Salak airport. Meet and greet by our local agent; transfer to the Waza national park; dinner and overnight at the Waza lodge hotel.

Day 2: Waza national park - Mokolo(135km). Safari all morning at the park until mid afternoon for transfer to Mokolo, via Oudjilla. Check-in at Hotel Bakaï for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Mokolo - Tourou - Rhumsiki (70 km). Depart after breakfast to visit Tourou market situated at the Cameroon/Nigeria boarder. This market is very colorful with women wearing decorated calabashes on their heads. After the visit, transfer to Rhumsiki. Overnight at the Rhumsiki lodge hotel.

Day 4: Rhumsiki - Maroua. Visit Rhumsiki village, particularly the crab fortune teller and the coppersmith; after lunch, transfer to Maroua for the night.

Day 5: Maroua - Maga - Pouss - Maroua: Excursion to the Maga dam and later visit Pouss with its famous round mudded huts. Afternoon return to Maroua for overnight.

Day 6: Maroua - Yaoundé/Douala. After breakfast, visit the local market and craft shops before flying back to Yaoundé or Douala.
