People living in this area often go walking to discover new areas of Alt Empordà. There are many reasons and facilities that makes this area the perfect place to be discovered at your own pace Walking: Sunny weather, great gastronomy, charming fishing towns, Dali’s surrealism, small isolated coves, magnificent coastline views and well-indicated paths.
* Level: Low-Medium 8-23Km per day with a max unevenness of 500m in a specific track. Most of the itinerary is indicated with red and white signs (GR92) and directional panels.
* Luggage: Closed and well-identified, should be delivered to the hotel reception and you will find it in your next accommodation.
Meals: half board except two days in Sant Pere Pescador and Cadaqués, where you are having bed and breakfast.
* Accommodation: 2* and 3* hotels.
Recommended Periods: March - November.
* Optional:
- Private transfers both ways from the hotel to Airport or Railway Station.
- Excursion with ornithologist to visit the Natural Park of “Els Aiguamolls de l’ Empordà”.

Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival at the village of Sant Pere Pescador, a village in the "Aiguamolls de l'Empordà" wetlands Natural Park. Accommodation in 2* hotel. Dinner is not included. There are plenty of restaurants in the village. In the hotel you will find the road book, map and information about the area.
Day 2: 23km/ 5 ½h. After breakfast, you can leave your luggage closed at the hotel reception and start walking along the GR-92 path up to the city of Roses. You will enjoy the sights of the natural park of Aiguamolls de l'Empordà, you will pass through some observatories where you can bird watch migratory birds (in spring and autumn). Visit the medieval village of Castelló d'Empuries, where you can visit the 17th Century church, known as the "Empordà Cathedral". Your luggage will be in your new accommodation. The flat land will make it a long, enjoyable walk. Dinner is included. Accommodation in a 3* hotel.
Day 3: 12km/3h. After breakfast, you take a circular walk to know the area of the ancient city of Roses, passing by prehistoric rests such as the Dolmen de la Creu in Cobertella, one of the most important in Catalonia with magnificent views over the Roses Bay, the Empordà flat fields and the Pyrenees Mountains. It is really impressive. Dinner in the hotel.
Day 4: 21Km/ 5h. After breakfast you can leave the luggage at the hotel reception and start walking along GR92 up to the enchanting village of Cadaqués. You will go through picturesque places like the light house of Roses, Cala Montjoi cove and la Cala Joncols cove with breathtaking views. We recommend you to take a bus or a taxi to "l’Almadrava" in Roses and start the walk from there (then the route will be of 14km). Dinner is not included. Multiple-choice of restaurants available in Cadaqués.
Day 5: 11,5km/ 3h. After breakfast, leave your luggage at hotel reception. Start following the GR92 path towards the coastline town Port de la Selva. This track is all nature through the Cap de Creus Natural Park. Dinner and accommodation in 3* hotel.
Day 6: 11km/ 4h. After breakfast, leave your luggage at the hotel reception. This is the last route. Go walking along the GR11 path up to the port of Llançà. It is only a 8km long track but goes up to 500m at the Sant Pere de Roda Monastery, one of the most important examples of Romanesque architecture in Catalonia (10th Century). If visibility is good, views over the Port de la Selva bay are magnificent. After visiting the monastery you will go down to Llançà village. You are hosted in Llancà with dinner included. Congratulations, you have completed the itinerary!
Day 7: After breakfast, hotel check-out.
