Local people like to go walking in the area to discover new paths because of warm weather, excellent gastronomy, wonderful views over the inland and the coastline, medieval towns to visit and sign-posted tracks. This is the perfect to discover Walking at your own pace.

* Level: Medium - Low, 10-19km per day with an unevenness of 200mmaximum above the sea level. The track is sign-posted with red and white marks (GR92) + direction posts.

* Luggage: Leave your luggage at hotel reception with the identification label we give you at your arrival. We will transfer it your next accommodation and you will find it after the walk.

* Accommodation: 3* hotels and enchanting agro tourism houses.
* Meals: Half board.
* Recommended period: March-June and September-November.

* Optional:
- Private transfers from and to the Airport/Station and the hotel.
- 2 nights in Barcelona: 2* hotel in city center, on bed and breakfast basis.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival at La Fosca Beach, in Palamós, with warm hosts and good food in the hotel restaurant. Dinner and accommodation in 3* hotel.

Day 2: 10km/ 2 ½h. After breakfast, you leave your luggage at the reception of the hotel and will start walking along the GR92 path up to Calella de Palafrugell, with lovely natural views like the Castell beach, the Iberic Settlement of Castell or the “Formigues” islands. You will find your luggage at the hotel. Diner will be in the 3* hotel restaurant from where you have views over the fishing village of Calella de Palafrugell.

Day 3: 18km/ 3 ½ h. After breakfast, this circular track of about 18km allows you to enjoy the coastline and inland, some ancient remains at the Iberic town of Castell. You will be crossing the interesting natural spot of Cap Roig. Dinner is in the hotel restaurant.

Day 4: 13km / 3h. After breakfast, leave your luggage at the hotel reception. Walking starts along the GR-92 to Begur. This is a wonderful small village with some "indianos " houses from those local Catalan people who came back from “the Americas” in the early 19th Century with good fortunes. This path has unevenness of 200m and has picturesque sights like the lighthouse of Sant Sebastià and Cala Pedrosa. Luggage will be in the hotel. Dinner and accommodation in the hotel restaurant.

Day 5: 10km / 2 ½ h. After breakfast, leave your luggage at hotel reception and start walking along GR92 to the small inland village of Sant Feliu de Boada. You will pass through vineyards and rice fields leaving the Mediterranean coastline behind. You will be visiting charming medieval villages like Pals, an obligatory stop for its characteristic architecture and fantastic views over the Medes islands, Montgrí Mountains and the typical "Empordà" farm landscape. A few more kilometers and there is a small town where your luggage will wait for you in the peaceful agro tourism house. Dinner and accommodation will be in this enchanting house. We recommend you to visit the medieval villages of Palau-Sator and Peratallada (3-4km).

Day 6: 19km / 5h ½. After breakfast, a circular flat tour to learn more about the Natural Spot of Basses d’en Coll and the rice growing in this area. Dinner is not included; there are restaurants available in the town.

Day 7: After breakfast, hotel check out.
