It is reached from the Chogoria village area, on the east side of the park. From Chogoria village you take a direct route up the road leading to the Meru Mount Kenya Bandas lodge where you can enjoy hot showers, a kitchen, bedroom, small lounge and a log fire. You also get to see the spectacular Gorges valley, the temples, lakes, Mushroom rocks, the Giant billiards table and the high peaks.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Leave Nairobi in the Morning via Chogoria Market to Meru Mt. Kenya Bandas for overnight in a Camp/Lodge.

Day 2: Trekking through Moorland to Minto's Hut for overnight.

Day 3: Attempt Point Lenana and descend to Bandas for overnight.

Day 4: Descend to Chogoria Village and connect with the transfer vehicle back to Nairobi.
