Literally translated as "wind and water", Feng Shui is the ancient Chinese art of balancing, harmonizing, and enhancing the flow of natural energies in the environment. Feng Shui is a philosophy and information system which reveals how your home and workplace affect your health, relationships and personal growth. The universal principles it is based upon make it applicable and adaptable to the needs of today's business and domestic life. Through effective application of Feng Shui principles, elements in your environment that affect your well-being are identified, and through careful analysis and reorganization, these elements can be brought into balance. Feng Shui can be applied to all aspects of life.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Leave USA for China, Beijing.
Day 2: Arrive in Beijing. Met and transfer to hotel. Traditional Chinese dinner followed by relaxing Foot Reflexology.
Day 3: Beijing. Buffet breakfast at hotel. Feng Shui tour of the Great Wall, Beijing Cloisonné Art Factory, Ming Tombs, and the grandiose 2008 Olympic stadiums. Afternoon explore Hutong neighborhood by rickshaw. Feng Shui at Courtyard Hotel and meet with interior designer. Dinner at gourmet Bai Family Courtyard Restaurant with entertainment by Chinese Music and Opera show.
Day 4: Beijing. Buffet breakfast at hotel. Feng Shui tour to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and Imperial Palace. Lunch at the elite Capital Garden Restaurant. Afternoon Feng Shui at Jade Factory. Then traditional Chinese body massage. Dinner followed Kungfu Ballet Show.
Day 5: Beijing to Xian. Buffet breakfast at hotel. Fly to Xian, met and transfer to hotel. Evening dinner followed by Foot Reflexology.
Day 6: Xian. Buffet breakfast at hotel. Feng Shui tour of ancient city of Xian, its Drum and Bell Towers, and the Ming Dynasty City Wall. Feng Shui at the Terra-Cotta Warriors Exhibition. Enjoy Buddhist Vegan lunch. Afternoon, visit a local village. Evening, Tang Dynasty Show and vegetarian and fish Dumpling Banquet dinner.
Day 7: Xian to Yangshou. Buffet Breakfast at hotel. Fly to Guilin, met and transfer to Yangshuo, a small 1,400 year old town in southern China with special topography beside the Li River and an amazing variety of all the charm and attractions and shopping you could want. Dinner at a local restaurant followed by the world famous “Liu San Jie” outdoor performance, weather permitting. Feng Shui questions and answers at hotel.
Day 8: Yangshou. Early morning Bamboo Rafting. Return to hotel for breakfast. Free time in Yangshuo, Lunch at Lucy's home with visit to Moon Village. Afternoon visit to Old villages and local markets. Dinner at hotel. Evening free for shopping and exploring West Street.
Day 9: Yangshou to Shanghai. Buffet breakfast at hotel. Fly to Shanghai, ultramodern center of finance, commerce and trade and China’s most amazing city. Afternoon Feng Shui tour to Shanghai Xinxiang Redevelopment Project, Later, walks through the charming Old Shanghai. Dinner in local restaurant.
Day 10: Shanghai. Buffet breakfast at hotel. Feng Shui at Jade Buddha Temple, enjoy Buddhist tea ceremony. Later, visit Silk Factory and “The Bund”. Gourmet lunch will be Shanghai flavored Dim Sum. Afternoon at Shanghai Museum. Farewell dinner and breath-taking night cruise over the neon-lit Huangpu River.
Day 11: Shanghai to home city (as with all groups, please allow for some spontaneity. Rates and dates subject to change based on availability).
