Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Nairobi-Amboseli National Park. Depart Nairobi in the morning for Amboseli National Park arriving Amboseli Lodge in time for lunch. This is a home to Africa’s highest mountain – some call it the rooftop of Africa.It is also the region where pastoral Masai and their cattle have lived in harmony with wild creatures for many a century. Dinner and overnight at the lodge at Amboseli Serena Lodge. Includes: (L, D).
Day 2: Amboseli. Early morning game drive after breakfast Amboseli is known for its abundance of Elephant displays Kenya's most sought photographer's paradise. After lunch, an extensive game drive is followed by dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge. Includes: (B, L, D).
Day 3: Amboseli-Mt Kenya. After breakfast, depart for the Mt Kenya region. Lunch will be at a base hotel from where you will be transferred to your tree lodge surrounded by forest and overlooking an illuminated waterhole and salt lick. A spacious veranda also overlooks the waterhole for game viewing there is never a dull moment. Dinner and overnight at the tree hotel. Includes: (L, D).
Day 4: Mt. Kenya-Nakuru. After breakfast drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru National Park, which has a fantastic array of bird life. Seasonally up to a million flamingos reside along the lake shore giving the lake a pink hue. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at a lodge over looking the lake Lake Nakuru National Park. Includes: (L, D).
Day 5: Nakuru-Maasai Mara. Depart Lake Nakuru in the morning and drive to Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Descend the escarpment in time for lunch at a Lodge in Masai Mara. After lunch relax and have an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Sopa Lodge. Includes: (L, D).
Day 6: Maasai Mara. Full day in Maasai Mara, Kenya's most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant). Wherever you go in the Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Zebras and hippos also exist in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but are still reasonably common. An optional visit to a local Maasai village. All meals and overnight stay at Mara Sopa Lodge. Includes: (L, D).
Day 7: Maasai Mara – Nairobi. After breakfast, return to Nairobi with a game drive en route to arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon. Includes: (B).
