Situated on the west coast of Norway and above the Arctic Circle, the Lofoten is an archipelago known for its exceptional beauty. The islands are characterized by their mountains and peaks, sheltered inlets, stretches of seashore and long virgin area. The surrounding sea is rich with life and offers some of the most exciting outdoor activities. This program is designed to give you some of the best experiences in the Lofoten. You will have a chance to go fishing in the Lofoten Sea. Learn about the killer whales on a whale safari. Join a guided snowshoe walk in the Lofoten Mountains and experience how the Vikings lived 1000 years ago.
Tour Itinerary:
Day 1, Tue: Arrival Evenes Airport. Transfer to Svolvaer. Upon arrival, transfer from Evenes Airport to your hotel in Svolvaer. At leisure after check-in. Overnight at Rica Hotel Svolvaer. Included: (D).
Day 2, Wed: In Svolvaer. Fishing Tour (6 hours). After breakfast, enjoy a fishing trip at the Lofoten Sea. Prepare and consume your own catch on board. Overnight at Rica Hotel Svolvaer. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 3: Thu In Svolvaer. Safari (6 hours). After breakfast, Orca-safari with briefing and excursion for the Orcas. Guided tour.
Overnight at Rica Hotel Svolvaer. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 4, Fri: In Svolvaer. Snowshoe walk (3 hours). After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour on snowshoes in the Lofoten Mountains. In the evening, “Hunting the Light” program and a visit to the Lofotr Viking Museum. Overnight at Rica Hotel Svolvaer. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 5, Sat: In Svolvaer. A full day at leisure. Breakfast at your hotel. The day is free for independent activities. Overnight at Rica Hotel Svolvaer. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 6, Sun: Departure Svolvaer. After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Evenes Airport for your flight back home. The tour ends upon arrival at the airport. Includes: (B).
