Tour Itinerary:
Days 1-2: Our guide will pick you up at 13h30 and transfer you to the Amazon Ecopark Lodge. Enjoy Reception with local juice before being shown to your room. After everyone has settled in there will be time to enjoy a visit to the Monkey Jungle. Later in the evening, Dinner and trip by canoe for Alligator Spotting and then Overnight at the lodge.
Day 3: Breakfast followed by Nature Hike. With over two million species of flora and fauna the thick, impenetrable jungle will have you marveling at it’s immensity! You will return in time for Lunch and have the chance to recuperate. After a short rest, visit to the home of local Amazonian residents (“caboclos”) with the opportunity for piranha fishing. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 4: In the morning we will have Breakfast and then depart for a full day tour to the Meeting of the Waters with lunch. Enjoy the spectacle of the “black water rivers”, the biggest of these being the Rio Negro which is a phenomenon that can be seen from space as this dark river converges with the Amazon mainstream. Following this excursion there will be an optional canoe ride with the opportunity for Piranha Fishing. The deadly piranha is perhaps the most feared freshwater fish in the world however, it is a common misconception that they are vicious man-eaters and the majority of species are not carnivorous! They make a delicious meal if you can manage to catch them with the help of our experts. Arrival at the lodge by 17h30. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 5: Breakfast. Free time to enjoy the natural pools. Check-out at 11h30 and transfer to Manaus for your flight.
