Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Nairobi- Lake Naivasha. Depart Nairobi for Naivasha, arriving in Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha and a walking safari at Crescent Island, one of the few places in the world where one can wander on foot amidst wild animals, have an afternoon boat ride Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Includes: (L, D).

Day 2: Lake Nakuru. After breakfast, depart Naivasha proceed to Nakuru to arrive at Sarova Lion Hill in time for lunch which is located in Lake Nakuru National Park, which has a fantastic array of bird life. Seasonally up to a million flamingos reside along the lake shore giving the lake a pink hue. The view of so many birds is very rewarding and appears almost unreal. The hills surrounding the lake give an almost perfect silhouette and are home to lions, leopards, cheetahs and buffalos. This Park is also a sanctuary for both the black and the white rhino – it is relatively small in size so it makes it easier to spot all these animals. Also found in the park is the rare Rothschild giraffe, water bucks and Burchell’s zebra. The height of this game drive is a climb (by car) up the "baboon cliffs". They offer a scenic panorama of the lake below, surrounded by a vast tract of euphoria and acacia forest. Makalia falls within the park is an additional attraction. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. Includes: (B, L, D).

Day 3: Mount Kenya. Depart after breakfast with a game drive en route and drive to the lower slopes of Mount Kenya with a rest stop at Nyahururu Thomson Falls - the longest waterfall in Kenya 96 meters. You will arrive Serena Mountain Lodge a tree hotel in time for lunch.Located on the slopes of Mount Kenya, the lodge is surrounded by a dense rain forest that comes alive at dusk with a myriad of sounds that makes the African bush so special and exhilarating. Considered the most spectacular forest water hole in the Aberdares, the lodge’s waterhole presents a constant ballet of wildlife. The lodge has 42 attractive bedrooms furnished with indigenous wood and African art, each with private bathroom. A spacious veranda also overlooks the waterhole for game viewing there is never a dull moment. Dinner and overnight at the tree hotel.

Day 4: Sweet waters Game Reserve. Depart Mountain Lodge after breakfast and drive a little further north across the equator to Sweet waters Game Reserve Sweet waters Tented Camp in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the private sanctuary. This very special 23,000 acre wildlife sanctuary was originally established to protect and breed highly-endangered Black Rhinos. In 1994 the Jane Goodall Institute established the Sweet waters Chimpanzee Sanctuary which is a home of 26 orphaned chimpanzee the only one of its kind in Kenya. You will also visit Morani the tame rhino and the Visitors Information Centre. Return to Sweet waters Tented Camp for dinner and overnight. Includes: (B,L,D).

Day 5: Samburu. Depart Sweet waters in the morning and drive heading north to a dusty outpost known as Isiolo. From here it's a fairly short hop to to arrive in time for lunch. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park famous as the place for the Samburu semi-nomadic tribesmen, the reticulated giraffe, the Gravy's zebra gerenuk, beisa Oryx and a host of the big game including elephant and lion. Meals and overnight at Samburu Serena lodge.

Day 6: Samburu. Full day of game viewing in the park famous as the place for the Samburu Semi-nomadic tribesmen, the reticulated giraffe, the Gravy's zebra gerenuk, beisa, Oryx and a host of the big game including elephant and lion. Samburu National Reserve is a wildlife haven. Here you will spot Africa’s big cats - lions, cheetahs and the elusive leopard. Some animals are unique to this northern Kenya park: Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, kudu and gerenuk. The The Ewaso Nyiro River, the boundary with the neighboring Buffalo Springs National Reserve, is where the elephants, buffalo and other animal species gather for a drink. You will find the scenic semiarid landscape quite dramatic. The reserve is located within the lands of the colorful semi-nomadic Samburu tribesmen. Meals and overnight at Samburu Serena lodge.

Day 7: Fly to Maasai Mara. Morning transfer to the airstrip for schedule flight to Maasai Mara departing at 09:15hrs and arriving Mara approx 10:45hrs.On arrival at Masai Mara you will be picked up by the lodge representative and transferred to Mara Serena lodge where you will check in and enjoy the lodge facilities. Lunch will be at the lodge. Have an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena lodge.

Days 8-9: Masai Mara. Full day at Masai Mara enjoying game drives.
The Mara reserve is 1510 sq km of incredible wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers. Wherever you go in the Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos also exist in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but are still reasonably common. Includes: (B, L,D).

Day 10: Nairobi/Amboseli. Morning transfer to the airstrip for schedule flight back to Nairobi departing approx 11:00hrs and arriving Wilson Airport approx 12:15hrs. Lunch in Nairobi and drive down to Amboseli National Park with a game drive en route to arrive in Amboseli Serena Lodge. Amboseli National Park is a landscape dominated everywhere by the glistening, majestic snow cap of the mighty Mt Kilimanjaro - a fitting backdrop to the wild region. This is Africa’s highest mountain – some call it "the rooftop of Africa". It is also the region where pastoral Masai and their cattle have lived in harmony with wild creatures for many a century. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Includes: {B, L, D).

Day 11: Amboseli. Early morning game drive that is rewarded by magnificent views of the mighty Mt Kilimanjaro with its snowcapped summit appearing pink in the rising sun. Amboseli is known for its herds of elephants with huge tusks and the ground-breaking research began by Cynthia Moss in the early 1970’s. Along with these gentle giants, other plains game such as zebra, wildebeest and buffalo are in abundance . The snows of Kilimanjaro, white and crystalline, form a majestic backdrop to one of Kenya's most spectacular displays of wildlife, creating Kenya's most sought after photographer's paradise. Afternoon game viewing drive in the Park followed by dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge. Includes: (B, L, D).

Day 12: Arusha. Depart Amboseli after breakfast and drive to Namanga (Kenya/Tanzania border). Here you will change vehicle and driver/guide before proceeding to Arusha, Rest of the day is spent at leisure. Lunch, dinner and overnight Moivaro Coffee Plantation Lodge.

Day 13: Arusha - Tarangire National Park. Depart after breakfast and drive Tarangire National Park. Proceed for check in and lunch followed by afternoon game drive in the Park. Dinner and overnight at Kikoti Safari Camp.

Day 14: Tarangire National Park - Lake Manyara National Park. Depart after breakfast and drive Lake Manyara National Park. Proceed for check in and lunch followed by afternoon game drive in the Park. Dinner and overnight Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 15: Lake Manyara National Park – Serengeti National Park. Breakfast is at your lodge. Depart with packed lunches and drive to the Serengeti National Park, undoubtedly the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequaled for its natural beauty and the greatest concentration of plains game anywhere. En route visit the Olduvai Gorge site of archeological findings, where traces of prehistoric man dating back to 3.5 million years ago have been discovered. Arrive with en route game drive and proceed for check in. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 16: Serengeti National Park. All day spent in the Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. Meals and overnight at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 17: Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Serengeti National Park. After breakfast, depart and drive with packed lunches to Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world. Its enduring charm stems from its overwhelming physical beauty and the abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. Proceed for half day crater tour in the afternoon. Later check in at your lodge. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 18: Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After breakfast, depart for a full-day tour of the crater floor with picnic lunches from the lodge. Later return in the evening to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 19: Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Arusha – Namanga Border. Depart after breakfast and drive back to Arusha and proceed for lunch at the Cultural Heritage before proceeding to the Namanga border.
