This overland tour consists of two parts: The first leg of the trip begins with excursion in Lhasa, visiting the Potala Palace, Jokhang, Sera and Drepung monasteries. After Lhasa we drive to Tingri via Gyantse, Shigatse and Sakya, visiting all the popular monasteries along the way. The second part of he trip will be the Mt. Everest (north Face) Base Camp Trek from Tingri on the friendship highway, it is relatively easy to access.

The walk is not particularly strenuous-only one low pass must be crossed. Near the base camp is the reconstructed monastery of Rongbuk, once, one of the largest monastic complexes in the region. The view from here of the Everest north face, perhaps is the most dramatic of all its sides, is unforgettable. Well acclimatized trekkers without mountaineering expertise have a number of options, including going up to more advanced camp. After the Everest Base Camp, we drive to the border city of Zhangmu via Shegar and exit.

Day 6: Drive to Gyantse via Yamdrok Lake- Hotel.

Day 7: In Gyantse morning visit Fortress and Palkhor Chodeand after that drive to Sigatse - Visit Tashilumpo - Hotel.

Day 8: Drive to Shegar- Hotel.

Day 9: Drive to Kharta - Camp.

Day 10: Start Trekking - Camp.

Day 11: Trekking - Camp.

Day 12: Trekking - Camp.

Day 13: Trekking - Camp.

Day 14: Trekking - Camp.

Day 15: Trekking - Camp.

Day 16: Trekking - Camp.

Day 17: Trek back to Kharta - Camp.

Day 18: Drive Kharta to Rongbuk - Camp.

Day 19: Trek Everest Base Camp - Camp.

Day 20: Drive From Rongbuk to Tingri - Camp.

Day 21: Drive to Zangmu - Hotel.

Day 22: Exit border transfer to friendship bridge and drive to Ktm.

Day 23: Free day in Kathmandu - Hotel.

Day 24: Transfer to Airport for final departure.
