Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra. Transfer to Anomabo beach resort.
Day 2: After breakfast, short tour discussion then tour to Elimina- and Cape Coast–Castle.
Day 3: After breakfast, tour to the Kakum National Park.
Day 4: After breakfast, take off towards Kumasi- capital of the Ashanti region and seat of Ashanti King- to visit the Palace Museum and the Market, which is the largest market in West Africa, then to the Lake “Lake Bosomtwe” where we shall spend the night. A falling meteorite formed the lake 1.3 million years ago. Two nights at the “Bosomtwe Paradise Hotel.
Day 6: Early departure to Western Region, Axim Beach Hotel. Three nights-Plcaes of visit: Nzulezu village (a village on stilts), Ankasa Nature Reserve, Princess Town.
Day 7: After breakfast, we travel back to Anomabo Beach Resort for beach swimming.
Day 8: In the morning of the last day of our “cross country tour” we take off to Accra, the capital of Ghana. We will tour town’s museums, Dr W.E.B Du Bois Center for Pan-African, arts market and the Dr. Kwame Nkrumah mausoleum. Dr. Nkrumah was Ghana’s first President. Before we set off to the airport where our “Cross Country Tour” will treat ourselves to a typical Ghanaian meal at the “Country Kitchen” Restaurant.
